He's been an average SG on some of the worst teams in history. They probably offered him 5/15 3 years and his agent balked. Taylor us not as good as Henderson, yet, but would be just fine in a starting role.

I'm glad they're not willing to do that.

For sure. Would be sad if we trade him for scrubs or lose him as an UFA just like so many of our draft picks but c'est la vie.

Edit: I think Nate Robinson is still available.

Yea Nate is still available, the Bulls offered him another vet. min deal, he turned it down. He want a muti year deal.

Please don't say that. Ellis all but guarantees a 9-10th seed finish giving up our pick to Chicago and missing the playoffs.

Fun fact: Rod Higgins was the general manager in Golden State when they drafted Monta.

If the Bobcats get Monta, this is a TOTAL Higgins move.

I would be pretty pissed if we got Monta Ellis. Such a waste of money.

Them and Nick Young. Gary Neal too, but it seems very likely he returns to SA.

Monta would certainly bring scoring to Charlotte but i just don't get why you would take on that small back court. Kemba and Monta on the floor at the same time is a potential defensive nightmare due to their small size.

is Nick Young a UFA? I would like Nick Young, 6'7 SG. Much better shooter than Henderson.

You're just throwing out names of boneheaded chuckers who will only hurt us. If we wanted to tank that way, we'd sign a 38-year-old Allen Iverson 15 times.

I will laugh my ass off if we do this to get Monta.

What? Inward please. We have two defensive juggernauts in Al Jefferson and Cody Zeller to swat away anything that comes into the paint.

Trade Henderson for an expiring. He doesn't have that much value around the league. He averaged 15 a game in the worst team in history.

THURSDAY, 12:03am: The Bobcats are reluctant to offer Henderson a deal with a starting salary between $7.5MM and $8.5MM, Wojnarowski writes. That led the team to enter the mix for Monta Ellis, a favorite of executive Rod Higgins from their days together with Golden State.

I got a feeling the Bobcats gon end up with Monta some how. I can see it. Soon as they said they were talking with Jefferson, I knew they were going to get him also.

If Gerald doesn't agree with the money that is being presented to him to re-sign here, I hope we can look at OKC and swap Jeremy Lamb for Henderson.

I don't get why the Kings want Ellis, when they just drafted McLemore. McLemore gon end up like T Rob if they get Ellis.
