ALL TIME LEADING SCORER

Kobe Bryant needs to average 27 points the next 3 years to become the NBA's all-time leading scorer.

He said he can play for another 3-4 years. Do you think Kobe can make it?

Doable if he's healthy and plays enough games

Especially next season,it's not far-fetched he scores like 30 ppg if he can come back close to his normal self

I mean, who's gonna score?Pau will get his,17-18 ppg but who else?

He can slack off with 23-24 ppg after that when we'll be back in contention and we get some good players

If he averages 27 for 4 more seasons he will be the first player to reach 40,000 points :D I think he will average 28-30 this season because he is determined to show people he isn't finished.

Man 27ppg for the next 4 years. With that much mileage on his body, I think that maybe even impossible for Kobe. Man that will require more heavy mins on that body

It will be tough but I'm not so sure you can put the words 'Impossible' and 'Kobe' in the same sentence anymore...

I'll rather say..... Kobe's gonna always leave it on the court and where he ends up... he'll end up!!

... he will still play so there's a possibility ... but with age, mileage and health issues it will be tough ... but wherever place he ends up it's always nice to see 4 out of the top 5 all time scoring leaders once played for the Lakers ... ^_^

Let's just make it through next season and see what happens... Kobe's personal achievements should be footnotes to great Lakers basketball, not the whole story... And as soon as they start to overshadow the Lakers, they start to irritate me.

I much rather have 2 more rings out of Bean than the #1 scoring spot

If he's determind to achieve this feat while playing three four more years then we're all doomed

think it will take him four years, so barring any big injury he should get there. Having said that even if he reaches it, I think it's only a matter of time until Durant surpasses the new record.

Also since next year will be a wash he should just concentrate on surpassing Jordan. I dont think he has much of a chance to pass kareem unless he plans on hindering the teams success/growth then by all means knock your self out.

Would be a nice accomplishment but shouldn't be a priority

This.

Don't want to see Kobe chasing benchmarks again. When he plays within himself it allows for the entire team to flourish.
