As the O's brand spanking new setup man, all he does is setup the O's the LOSE.
I have absolutely no idea how in the hell he's garnered so much trust in Perlozzo and Mazonne that he keeps getting trotted out during the crucial innings of every close game.
Every close game (or even not so close close) game that he enters, the O's lose. Cut this clown now or at least put him on mop-up patrol.

Hell, I'm a Mariners fan and I found Baez pitching tough to watch. Tough break for Burress who pitched very well...not much you could do with his pitch count where it was, however.
I can empathize with your situation...I remember the days of Bobby Ayala and Heathcliff Slocumb coughing up lead after lead. I don't think there's anything more difficult to watch as a fan than a bullpen that routinely implodes.
The O's bullpen philosophy is one I vehemently disagree with. The M's don't have a great bullpen, but they're ultimately able to win with replaceable arms. Overpaying for a closer I can understand, but it doesn't seem that complicated to put together a competent yet cost effestive pen...
But it's a fixable problem, really.

Yeah, I really feel for you guys, especially these past few games. You really deserved better than to have the ben blow TWO leads, especially in the midst of a losing streak.
As Sweezo said, the M's were absolutely awful in the pen during the 90s.
Wha? We dont?
Morrow, O'Flaherty, Sherrill, Green, and Putz have all been fabulous. I think we have one of the better pens in the league.
