Andre Drummond OMG!!!

Post#1 » by DetroitSho » Thu Jul 11, 2013 11:48 pm

Haven't watched any summer league but I just saw his highlights of the last game on NBA TV and his overall stats. Dude is putting up like 15 pts and 15 rbs a game and is all over the place. He dropstepped and BOOMED right over the top of a defender at one point. That's the aggression we've been looking for. If this guy reaches his potential, watch TF out.

He will now because of Sheed.

We might win 50 games this year....

Anything less than 45 wins right now would be a pretty big letdown for me.

I'm beyond excited to see Drummond go to work this year.

Andre Drummond = Shaq on crack.. I swear I've seen Bynum and Dre score at will with a high pick and roll.. Drummonds a beast I don't think we've seen a talent like him before at the center position.. His size and speed and the guy has handles and great hand eye coordination and he stuck up D Wade twice in a row and and and I can't wait

He is putting up 15 and 15 on weak competition however he is doing that without any sort of offensive game. If Hakeem and Sheed can help him he will be unstoppable.

I actually think Drummond can be a true contender for DPOY as early as this season

I don't think he'll get the minutes for that. I still only see him starting out by playing 25-30 minutes a night. If you have watched the summer league games, conditioning is still a huge issue. He's in good shape but not game shape. I dunno if he is tired running on the court or just disinterested in being in the summer league?

Good thing is he actually RUNS the court. What a nightmare for opposing centers. And with Sheed coaching him? This is going to be awesome!

The drop step dunk was the most impressive play i've seen from Drummond as a Piston.

Thats Rasheed's influence & AD can do that all game, once he gets that, its over.

Wait till where he is going to stop. Sheed might made him stop at the top of key. :)

Wait til Hakeem also works with him as well. Drummond is literally the best blank canvas money can buy, and its up to this organization to add the finest paints to make him known.
