I think Evans was part of the trade
He was in early versions of the deal but was later removed. Nets roster is actually:
PG Williams / Livingston / Taylor
SG Johnson / Terry
SF Pierce / Kirilenko
PF Garnett / Evans / Teletovic
CE Lopez / Blatche / Plumlee
Even Mason Plumlee is no slouch -- He's a monster on the boards, already.
The only thing I don't like is the lack of athletic wing defenders. The SG and SF positions are collectively a bit too old to defend the quickest athletes.
Team chemistry and minutes could be a concern.
This is a good team for someone like Phil Jackson to take over. There are egos that will need to be suppressed and the team blended. Stars will have to accept lesser roles, while at the same time they will all have to buy in defensively.
I also think long distance shooting is a concern. Williams, Terry and Pierce can all hit threes, but that's not their primary roles on O. Sometimes its necessary to strictly have players out there to spread the floor, hit open threes, and play relentless D on the other end.
