Teague an Hinrich could be off the team next year. I'll keep Kirk for the min if he wants that. That's basically what he is now.

As soon as Hinrich goes down with some random injury (and he will) we are going to be without a competent backup point guard and a backup shooting guard. We can not afford to piss away games this season with so many tough teams in the East. I can't even fathom passing on Nate for the minimum. Like Jerry Krizause said...screw Teague. I half way like the kid, and he could turn out developing into a decent player, but there is plenty of time for that. We have to win NOW. LeDouche and the Heat are on the verge of a three-peat for fux sake. We need to do everything we can to keep that from happening, and adding Nate to this roster could end up helping immensely.

I think I might give him more than one day...

But yeah, it'd be nice to see that he's made a step or two up.

Sam: It should tell you something that even after the wonderful season Nate had that with all the players signed he’s still without a team. I expect him to eventually get picked up, but I don’t see that it would be with the Bulls even for a minimum as they seem pretty committed to giving Teague a chance and Nate doesn’t see himself as a fifth guard playing once every two weeks.

http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/ask-sam-s ... 22013.html

So Sam thinks even at the minimum that Nate will not be back

That's laughable.

Teague is terrible, young and simply not ready to back up Rose.

And I can't see Nate choosing rebuilding Utah over us and Rose.

F*ck Teague and gimme Nate.

Sorry meant to say we'll start to see it tomorrow. lol

We should see signs this SL, if not I wouldn't give up on him but would bring in a JL3 or someone.

Regardless Nate should be back but I think he gets a deal worth more than the vet mini

Why are the Bulls so against using the D-League?

I don't understand that either. Same with summer league, we have a bunch of nobodies. We didn't even go ask undrafted rookies who had decent college careers.

not sure about the dleague but I think the bulls didnt go after may top name undrafted rookies because they want to give the bulk of the minutes to teague, snell, malcolm thomas, and erick murphy. They are proabaly going to look at goudelock and routins to see if they can bring anything valuable to the team. but all of the top undrafted players proably chose summerleague rosters that they know that they have a chance of making the team. And they proably also chose a summerleague roster that they know they get more playing time on. The bulls are proably are only going to sign 1 or two more players. It seems more likely that they are going to be vets. I do hope they give goudelock a look if they cant resign nate though.

They are against it because of what happened to their young big man, Martynas Andriuskevicius.

He was in the Hughes/Gooden for Wallace trade right? I remember him, I remember him going to the D-League, but I don't remember what happened?

Way before that 2005 44th pick was traded to the bulls in 06 and in the 06 summer league suffered a fractured skull courtesy of a punch from Awvee Storey.

He got sucker punched by a teammate during practice. I think Martynas was practicing hard and the guy didn't like it or something and hit him so hard that I think Martynas ended up being in the hospital. It was a real dirty hit if I remember correctly.

Edit: Found an article.
”He has a skull fracture, severe concussion and a two-centimeter hematoma on the left side of his brain,” Andriuskevicius’ agent Herb Rudoy said. ”They’ve been monitoring him because they’re concerned about seizures.

”From what I’m told, when he got hit unexpectedly, he went out cold instantly and fell right back on his head.”

Guess they didn't have to worry about that with James Johnson.

Brett Poirier NBA ‏@BrettNBA 2h

Source: Raptors interested in signing free agent Nate Robinson, would use him as backup point guard behind Kyle Lowry

Kevin Bryant ‏@KevinRashidi 2h

Talks about getting Nate Robinson or Rodrigue Beaubois are back on as Raptors will NOT be signing Julyan Stone due to a failed physical.#R

So Nate could be Toronto bound now. This would be the 2nd year Toronto took our 3rd string PG.

They better get Beaubois. If they don't, they're clearly racists.

This was after the Dwight Buycks signing? In the WT is said:
The Oklahoman first reported that Buycks had agreed to be the Raptors’ backup point guard.

I realize it would make since to have a veteran PG as back-up as Buycks is unproven at the NBA level, but was just curious if these tweets were taking that signing into consideration

No JamesOn had different issues in the d leauge. He was arrested for public urination. Those two reasons I think why the fo doesn't like letting our rookies go down there. They probably feel it's not the best atmosphere and they could just teach them more by themselves.
