Dallas > Milwaukee, city and team. 3/30 is still a lot of money.

Plus no state income tax. Probably close to a wash, or at least close enough to make the team culture a factor. What player not named Lamar Odom wouldn't want to play for Mark Cuban's team?

I agree with this. Dallas is a better place for him and it works out for Milwaukee since they don't have to pay him and they can try to tank better without him.

I was personally hoping he would choose the Bobcats because I think that team would've been fun to watch and I really like the Bobcats.

Upside is he has plenty of time to try and find a spot somewhere.

While he seemed like a nice enough guy, he didn't impress me on the court. There are all sorts of athletic guys without contracts, he's just another one in the pile. Nothing special.

I loved Jones on our team and wish him the best.

But the two guys I really want to sign with us are Osby and Slaughter so he can be our 3rd/4th string PG. any news on them?

yep, when i saw it at first to me it was expected but then i saw who he basically got the spot over which was Reggie Jackson and thought it was kinda interesting. Reggie is basically the full time backup PG at OKC but whoever deemed Dipo first team must of thought he did a better job his first time out, talk about nailing it lol. Either way all this is is just something to build on, and hopefully he can take all the lessons learned from Summer League and watch film and come back to training camp ready to go.

I thought they we completely lottery protected? Like 1-14? We have plenty of 2nd rounders already, and by the time we get them Philly likely wont be as bad. Maybe we can get a late first for BBD come trade deadline?

You were right, 14...my bad. But technically, we don't have any extra 2nd rounders. We don't have our 2014 but we do have LA's 2015, canceling out but not in our favor really. Talking about 2nd round picks so obviously that doesn't mean much but Henny has shown a good ability to pluck out a good 2nd rounder. I'd like to see what he could do with a couple early second round picks.

I may be in the minority here, but I'm glad Jones is not returning... he's like a taller von wafer. Athleticism means nothing if you can't finish, can't shoot and don't have the smarts. Wish him well though. He overachieved considering he was a nobody in college.
