I am doing a franchise in MLB 2K7 and thought I would post some results.
You can do this as well here.

My Batting Lineup:
1. Soriano
2. DeRosa
3. Lee
4. Rameriz
5. Barrett
6. Jones
7. Floyd/Pie (Frank Park)
8. Theriot
9. Pitcher

Pitching Rotation:
Zambrano
Lilly
Hill
Marquis
Marshall

Record 0-0

I am going to play a few games and post some results.

Yeah I am thinking about doing that next game.
Currently in game #1 Jones is 0-2 so I may trade him and win GM of the Year.
Pie and Theriot aren't very good in 2K7 but Theriot is currently 2-2.
I am leading 3-0 thanks to an Aramis Home Run.

Zambrano is throwing a 2-hitter with 5 strikeouts so far.

Chicago Cubs=1-0

It took awhile but I pulled out a victory. 11 innings it took because I left Zambrano in a little too long. Dempster gave up the tying run in the 9th sending it into extra innings but Mark DeRosa bailed us out in the 11th hitting a 2 run homer. Howry did great pitching 2 innings in the pen and earning the win.

Studs of the Game:
Ryan Theriot 3-4 3 Singles
Mark DeRosa 2-5 HR 2 RBI's
Aramis Rameriz 1-5 HR 1 RBI

Duds of the Game:
Derrek Lee 0-5 1 K
Jacque Jones 0-4 1 K

Zambrano's Stats:
8 Innings Pitched
7 Hits Allowed
3 Runs Allowed
8 Strikeouts
3.38 ERA

W-Howry (1-0)
L- Weathers (0-1)

A huge win for me in game #2. We won 11-0 thanks to some great hitting by Derrek Lee and great pitching by Ted Lilly and the bullpen.
Derrek Lee hit 2 homers in this game and Soriano and Aramis hit 1 each.
Adam Dunn has struck out 5 times in 2 games!

Studs of the Day:
Derrek Lee 4-5 2 HR's 5 RBI's
Felix Pie 3-4 2 runs scored
Alfonso Soriano 2-5 1 HR 2 RBI's

Duds of the Day:
Ryan Theriot 0-3 1 RBI

Ted Lilly struck out 5 and gave up 0 Runs!

I like playing Baseball Mogul, where you run a team and their farm system without actually playing the games. And the first thing I do is trade Jones, every time. You can't go wrong.

I'll probably start playing MLB2k7 a bit more, probably after the ASB. Bought it the day it came out, but have only played a handful of games.

Are you using any custom sliders?

What type of hitting do you guys use? the axis BS really sucks, I looked at myself in the mirror when I try to swing(thrusting the controller and my arms forward) and I look real real stoooopid.

I use the Swing Stick (right analog stick) for the 360 version. IMO its pretty lame to use the buttons to hit because it takes so little skill and really robs the pitcher of being able to change speeds effectively.

I use a combination of both. Usually I use the swing stick.
One bad thing about 2K7 is it always seems that you get robbed by the outfielders.
Also home runs never go that far. My longest homer is like 450 and usually it only goes like 390 or 400.

Cubs Record=3-0
What a game. We won 14-2 thanks to a great outing by Rich Hill. Hill did it both on the mound and at the bat. Hill retired 17 consectutive batters from the 3rd inning to the 9th and threw a 5-hitter. Hill also struck out 11 in this game. He went 3-5 batting with a HR and 2 singles. Also Cliff Floyd hit 2 HR's in this game while going a Soriano-like 5-5. Michael Barrett went 4-5 with 2 HR's and a few more players hit home runs to help us score 14 runs in this game. Adam Dunn struck out 3 times today giving him 8 strike outs for this series
Rich Hill threw a complete game 5-hitter and only gave up 2 runs.

Studs Of The Game:
Cliff Floyd: 5-5 2 HR's 3 Singles
Rich Hill: 3-5 HR 2 Singles
Michael Barrett: 3-5 HR 2 Singles

Duds Of The Game:
Ryan Theriot 2-5
(That isn't even bad lol)

You must not have the roster updates, they corrected this with the first or second roster update released.
