Let's secure that home field advantage for whichever of our division rivals that make the playoffs!

Tank the ASG so the Red Sox don't get home advantage.

Maybe the All Star break will be good for this team...but probably not.

Nice to see Edwin get his due. And Cecil and Delabar have been lights out.

Can't wait to see Cuddyer ripping doubles in the derby tonight.
That's what she said.

When John Farrell gets his MOY, AA will shed a million tears.

Why? Farrell's not a good manager and he wanted to leave to manage Boston.
9. Similarly, IF THOU HAST SPENT the entire offseason predicting that thy team will stink, thou shalt not gloat, nor even be happy, shouldst thou turn out to be correct. Realistic analysis is fine, but be a fan first, a smug smarty-pants second.

He also left Boston because he asked AA to get more pitching during the last season when all those pitchers went down and AA waited long enough only to get Happ A lot of friction between the two was also the cause of him leaving.

Why isn't Bautista or Encarnacion in the HR derby?

Bautista was asked, but team didn't want him to take part for whatever reason.

Encarnacion i don't believe was a consideration.

I think EE said he wouldn't participate prior to the announcing of the team.

Cespedes is killing it.

EE was asked, but said no because of his hamstring.

Home Run Derby performance aside, he hasn't even been that much better than Melky offensively this season, believe it or not (.307 wOBA compared to .302 for Melky). Not saying I wouldn't love to have Cespedes on the Jays, but it's been pretty remarkable how bad he's been this year.

I want Michael Cuddyer to win this. Maybe that will make MLB reconsider the format of this competition.

Curt Schilling looks like a 60-year old SPGA Tour golfer.

Cespedes should round the bases after he hits the walk-off.
