Lol. That's insane nitpicking.

I'm not nitpicking at all. I'm just keeping it real. I love the pick of Zeller at #4 if we're intending to try to win as much as possible this year. You can't honestly tell me Zeller has looked comfortable shooting that mid-to-deep range jumper. I'm not saying that he'll continue to be uncomfortable with it but I've noticed that it's not second nature to him to shoot jumpers yet. It's going to be a process.

He's not a Dirk Nowitzki, but he shoots it pretty good considering that wasn't his job in college.

I don't remember how effortless the shooting strokes of Cody's NBA comparisons, Bosh and Aldridge, were during their rookie summer league games so I'll reserve any criticism. He's been a very smart player on both sides of the ball. His BBIQ combined with his versatility for a 7-footer is going to make him a player in this league for years.

Could not watch the game, but after reading this thread and seeing the Box Score, very impressed with Cody. I wil be so happy if I eat crow after moaning on draft night

It's not second nature because the coaching staffing will need a lot of games to see what he can do and get a certain comfort level.

He is so good with the ball in his hands for his size. He likes to drive, and you can tell he is paying his dues, looking for the "veteran" players. His jumper seems to be his 3rd option. So he probably is thinking just a little too much right now.

I am full convinced he is going to be at worst an above average player. Nothing he has shown has screamed to me, he's doing this against weaker competition. This kid has a full arsenal of weapons.
