Judging from Parson's play-by-play it seems that the biggest problem for the new kids is lack of Strength.

I noticed the +/- last night, so I had a chance to think about it.

By comparison, Schroder had a terrible -2 on +/-, but everyone who watched the game - me, the announcers, NBA.com's highlights - will tell you he was the leader of our offense and the star of the game.

Just more proof that +/- (as well as other advanced stats) are not always an accurate barometer of a player's value or production.

Through two games in Las Vegas, Dennis Schroder has done nothing to dismiss comparisons to Rajon Rondo. Like Rondo, Schroder's exceptional quickness enables him to penetrate on offense and pressure opposing ballhandlers. He used good footwork to hound Miami guard Anthony Marshall all night Sunday, forcing eight turnovers, and handed out eight assists. The Rondo similarity extends to Schroder's weaknesses. He missed both perimeter attempts -- one was wide right by at least a foot -- and he'll have to make the simple pass rather than forcing the issue and turning the ball over, as he did three times.

8 turnovers! I told y'all he was frustrating them on defense - that Marshall couldn't dribble face-up against Schroder - but I didn't realize Schroder forced 8 turnovers.

Decided to read this thread, funny you saw the same things I saw from Schröder (and Mack as well, the fight for PG w Dennis all the way to Mack taking that terrible last sec 3 to end the 3rd and Dennis looking at him with his arms out like "Why didn't you pass the ball").

Mack is terrible, throws bad passes mostly and very out of control was funny to see him trying to hard to make something happen while the 19yr old let things happen.

Also Dennis' bball IQ as a PG os ahead of Teague's. I like the kid, great potential though I see him more as Gary Payton than Rondo.

Also liked Muscala and Bebe alot, really good young pieces in ATL.

One question in regards to Schröder's scouting report that I haven't seen people comment on: he is supposedly a good spot up shooter although terrible off the dribble. Any one see him shoot a set shot or has he been controlling the ball so much that he isn't out of the play long enough to find a position?
