I hope that's not true.

You mean used up half of the mmle.

the important thing was to get him here and at this price for two years its a great deal

Brand is a ship that has sailed
Free Candy might be a Vet Min and apparently Kmart is either out of our price range or mysteriously cheaper than MVP

But I dont think Grunnie is clueless in this

What was reported after Metta was amnestied was that the Lakers only get financial relief if a team claimed him off waivers. Since nobody did Metta is getting what the Lakers owe him + whatever he can get from another team.

We don't have a legit back up center. I think A'mare will be fine. Largely depends on the projected line up. I'm still not crazy about playing small ball, but at least Ron makes it easier to swallow.

I did mean uninsured my bad. Also Im pretty sure Donnie was still in charge when he amnestied billups. He was deff the one the picked up the option on billups contract before we ended up amnestying him anyways.

Nope, the amnesty was 100% Grunnie.

Donnie did pick up Billups' option, but that was the right move at the time, since not doing it would leave us with no PG and still cost us $4M of cap

The end result was Billups leaving anyway, don't see how it was the right move.

We were still pursuing CP3 and needed Billups' contract. We only amnestied Chauncey after CP3 fell through.

If Billups didn't have that guaranteed money if he was cut, we probably would have just let him go.

Welp, it took 10 pages, but we finally found something to complain about.

NY sports radio has ordained that bringing in MWP still does not make the Knicks better than the Nyets. Some days I wonder why I even turn the damn radio on.

Wow, so he was content with what the Lakers were paying him but needed more to play here?

Nice. All I can think about it the physical defense between shump, metta, and martin if we sign him.

Lebron and Wade better stay out of the paint. Too many bruises.

Ron Artest Sr.: "He’s going to come to the Knicks & I know he wants to win a championship. Whether it happens or not he’s gonna work hard.”

Definitely the type of player we need.

If anything this team is gonna be our most entertaining in years, especially off the court lol.

Better roster than last season, all you can ask for.
