We weren't over .500 when Wallace made was selected to his All Star game.

Wallace was also on another planet defensively and was having one of the best rebounding seasons by a wing player in recent memory. There would have been some major issues if Wallace hasn't made it that year.

Don't forget Love made the all star team while leading the Wolves to the worst record in the league a couple years ago. Winning is a big part but it comes down to who is really playing best.

well Jrue Holiday made the all-star team playing for a bad team so Kemba might have a chance

I'll be overly optimistic on this one and buy it. With some injury luck (to other players) I think he can sneak in there. He has a cult-following, just simmering on the back-burner since his NCAA championship days and ready to heat up if the Bobcats added enough talent to give him enough pieces to actually pass to.

I would buy him making the team next season. This season I think he will need to adjust to playing with two bigs who can play. I think that he will dip a bit scoring wise with a slight increase in his assists. Next season I think that he will make it.

I think people get too caught up with players pasts sometimes to actually see the futures. Just because Deron Williams was better than Kemba at one point in his career does not mean that will always be true. Kemba could easily become a top 5 point guard this season, but people tend to view him for what he is and not what he might end up being....

In Sports talent is always rising and falling... hence before the season nobody would of said Paul George is better than a lot of SF in the league such as Deng, Pierce, and Gay, but now looking at it nearly everybody would take George over that group.

I think the same thing can happen for Kemba this season...

Unfortunately, the All-star game doesn't always elect the best players for reasons uncontrollable such as human bias. The one knock against Kemba that prevented him from getting some attention last year was the overall state of the Bobcats. Most people don't fully realize the kind of season he had last year because our record was bad. If you don't believe me, most Pistons fans still maintain that Brandon Knight is better than Kemba, which is an absolute farce. If Kemba would have played for a team that was decent and battled for a playoff spot, he would be under the spotlight right now. When it's all said and done, Kemba might not be an All-star but my best guess is that he'll damn sure deserve it
Mike Malone was never given a fair chance in Sacramento, and Ranadive will soon come to regret that, when he's on top of the WC inevitably contending somewhere
