Enough of seeing Schröder matched up w purely athletic guards that try to outquick him, already seen it and have a good idea how he'll handle it.

I wanna see him matchup w Nando De Colo, someone who'll challenge him to use his mind.

Kids will be kids. Schroder proving he's one, follows a great game by sleepwalking through this one. Guess they don't have a lot of back-to-backs in Europe. Lousy game: we didn't seem to care and the announcers really didn't care. When Schroder fouled out, they didn't even notice. It was kind of upsetting, listening to them socializing while the game was going on. They only seemed to pay attention whenever something interesting happened.

And how do you pronounce Schröder's name? ESPN emphasized that it's pronounced "schroo-der" with a "u" but this is the 2nd game I've listened to these guys say "schroe-der" with an "o."

Great game by Scott, but when Schroder fouled out, Mack just couldn't find him. I wanted Scott to get 30 on his birthday but Mack just dribbled around, lost. Cunningham looked really good at times, especially when he had the chance to show off his athleticism. On a missed FT (that Cunningham missed), Muscala tipped the rebound out to Cunningham on the right side. I promise y'all Cunningham's elbow was even with the rim on his dunk. Guy can run and really jump. Just looked him up on the Oregon State website. They say his vertical is 44 inches. Wow. Muscala knows and does the right thing (pretty much all the time; he's a smart player) but was entirely overmatched, strength-wise, by the Spurs. How's he going to be able to contribute in the NBA if he's not strong enough for the SL?
My mother told me, she said, "Elwood, to make it in this world you either have to be oh, so clever or oh, so pleasant." Well, for years I was clever; I recommend pleasant.

It's pronounced SHREW-duh.

The announcers at Summer League don't bother learning these guys names...

Can't trust announcers to learn names, just look at poor Zaza get his name butchered over the years.

Simple way to pronounce it :

- It's like "schön" you can hear by clicking on the "Listen" icon next to the word : http://en.bab.la/dictionary/german-english/schoen
with a "r" added and no "n" at the end.

- Then : http://en.bab.la/dictionary/german-english/der

Other way :
the "ö" is like the "i" of "Sir"
and the "e" is like the "e" of "Ten"

Boban Marjanovic, the 7-foot-3 Serbian center, appears to be finished with summer league play. He was seen saying goodbye to teammates and coaches following Monday’s game.

Haha thanks. Olynyk almost playes too well. He wasn't a particularly popular pick on our board but now b/c he had such a good SL the expectations are way too high. That being said he was shockingly skilled even to someone like me who caught a lot of his college games last year. Remains to be seen how he grades out rebounding or defense wise but offensively I would be shocked if he wasn't at least a high teens scorer in 2-3 years.

I see. I was advocating us drafting him if he'd fallen that far. But he was wildly unpopular here as well.
I view him as similar to Brook Lopez. Lots of scoring potential, but limited rebounding and defense.
