but undersized guys that can't facilitate or defend?

Spurs teach players how to defend. defense can be taught, a lot of it is effort and team D, switching rotations, etc. not saying they can teach him to grow size but even with his size they can teach him to be a servicable defender.

That lakers aren't stopping anyone this year anyway. wow if we sign goudelocke we'll drop from 29th in defense to 30th. oh no!

Why would I regret the Lakers not signing a scrub? Yall are the same people who think CDR is good when in reality, he's pure trash, there's a reason they weren't in the NBA last season.

to be fair LaLa, we're just optimisitic and trying to tell ourselves what we have is good since we don't have any other choice.

i like him, everytime i see him he always playing good for his role (scoring & shooting)

as for defense, it can easily hide on good team defense, its not like hes the worst Lakers defender, everyone in the Lakers play bad defense last season. In the past 3 years, hes Lakers best bench scorer, maybe only Jamison better than him. Don't know why people so hard on him, he's a or 2 league above Morris, Ebanks.

Lakers should have kept this guy to be their "Craig Hodges".

Fixed.

And he's not as bad on defense as people make him out to be.

No thanks, I'd much rather have Nick Young.

Totally shocked that this is a thread...

As far as regrets go, this is about like regretting not going for the whole milk in my cappuccino...
