Apparently Jennings was renting a condo on the river here downtown.
According to my friend Jennings left a condo full of stuff from furniture to clothing and never came back to town to clear it out.
If this is true, he really wanted out of town badly and perhaps thought he was getting paid big time and didn't care about the financial aspect.
That info must be a year old.
Jennings has been living in the Moderne on 3rd St. since Nov 2012

I'm confused. Wouldn't the moderne be considered downtown and on the river? I thought the back end was on the river?

OK, yeah, you are right. I wasnt thinking about it right. I know he used to live in the Third Ward on the River so I was thinking about that place. I'm sure all the furniture is rented/lease or will be returned to the store. Clothes and personal items an assistant can always come back to collect if he wants.
Maybe he left everything because he assumed he was returning? That has to be a possibility as well.

Lowe has a great breakdown of the Pistons today at Grantland. Basically they're going to be mediocre, and they're looking at serious spacing issues. Both are obvious, but he takes it further and echoes what I think they should do which is move on from Monroe before they're locked into giving him max-type money. It'd be a bad idea for a PF that can't defend.
Again, I'd offer Monroe. If they asked for Knight, I'd probably throw him in there as well because I don't think Knight will be anything to write home about.
Rondo isn't an elite PG and he's probably overrated, but it could be interesting in Detroit if you keep him and Smith happy.

I would do the same only because then you could slide Josh Smith to PF where he belongs. Lol at Detroit trying to build the poor-man's "Lob City" though.

Jennings has expressed interest in re-signing with Milwaukee, claiming to have unfinished business with the team. However, the two parties cannot come to an agreement on a contract extension, leaving the point guard looking elsewhere. NBA league sources have reported that Detroit is considering a sign-and-trade that would likely involve Brandon Knight.

I may have not phrased that well. Knight to me is the much better asset (player) because he's 21 with possibly some upside (only been in the league two years). He could turn into something.
In the case of Stuckey, I see him as the weaker asset. Sure he's a "big guard" and move proven. But in true Bucks fashion, he's the player likely to remain the same or decline given his age. Naturally then Stuckey is the guy we'll want to trade for.

Wonder what it would take to get Rondo? Ersan and a first?
The Bulls are the absolute worst.

Re: The Brandon Jennings Conundrum (who has cap space left?)
Knight has sucked currently, but I'd take him over letting Jennings walk. It's at least a (really) young piece that has hope of improvement. Obviously, this wouldn't be my first preference, but I think Jennings trade value is trash, so....

On that Simmons/Lowe podcast, I loved how the Simmons homer gene emerged again when he thought it would be a great deal for Detroit to acquire Rondo for Drummond. And how Detroit would just have to accept that Gerald Wallace would be sent their way to balance salaries. Lowe tried his best to not call out his boss (Simmons) and gently note that Detroit isn't doing that.
If I'm any team in the NBA, I would not be dealing legit assets for Rondo until I see that he's fully recovered. If they want to send him our way for Jennings only I'd do it. But I wouldn't include anymore assets. I just don't trust a guard to make a quick and full recovery from an ACL. People keep talking about Rondo trade value wise on these talk shows as if he never had the ACL. I don't get it.

I'm not a Rondo fan, but it'd be a nice move. Just can't get rid of Henson.

I wouldn't even consider moving Giannis/Henson/Sanders/2014 1st for Rondo.

If we are seriously looking at Stuckey, I could definitely roll with the Stuckey of a couple of years ago. But he was pretty bad last year.

I think Rondo is an elite PG, but with the injury the most I'd be willing to offer would be Jennings and Ersan.

Two thoughts:
1) What are "whispers," exactly? It kind of sounds like second-hand info in need of a giant grain of salt. If there was concrete info here, I'm guessing it'd warrant an actual article and not an offhand tweet.
2) That said ... Woelfel is in Las Vegas, while Goodwill isn't. That's not to say that his info is any better, just that he's likely hearing more things from more people. That can be a good thing, sometimes, but it can also tilt the signal-to-noise ratio in the wrong direction, too.
3) Regardless whether the Pistons are talking to the Bucks, should they be talking? Eh, I'm not sure.
Without spending too much time trying to imagine what it'd take to get this deal done, let's assume it'd involve Brandon Knight. Neither player is terribly efficient scoring, but Jennings is a much better playmaker. But is he enough of an upgrade to justify giving up a player two years younger still on a rookie scale contract?
I don't see it. But I don't see a lot of things that Joe Dumars does, for better or worse.

Re: The Brandon Jennings Conundrum (who has cap space left?)
I could see us getting Rondo, thinking he is a difference maker, etc, and then he comes to camp with a noticable limp, rushes back, ends up being a shell of his former self and a major pain for the whole organization and teammates. And we're set back another 5 years.
To somebody's credit though, I don't feel like we've made an insanely dumb deal yet this offseason. Maybe they learned from the Redick deal. But no rumors that our young assets are going anywhere and no really dumb BIG contracts. I mean ZaZa, etc can be debated but they aren't putting us in cap purgatory. So I hope we're a little wiser and we won't be doing anything ridiculously dumb. Keyword "hope".

Well why the hell do we want him if even Detroit thinks he sucks?
