could Raps get picks out of that? or moving cap and getting Knight is enough

That's a terrible trade for us. We get literally nothing back that has any value.

thought the cap space and being terrible was enough
maybe lottery protected 1st from Mill and conditional pick from Det if they resign Gay

How bout

Det: derozan, Jennings(s&t), trade fodder
Mil: Lowry, gay, CV
Tor: Henson, mil 2014, gooden(bad contract), singler or knight + detroit 2nd

I know it seems like we're fleecing mil, but they just traded Tobias for 2 2nd rnders

Rumors have it that he is available. I'd love to see our front office snag him now. He's an old school guard with quick hands on d and length to switch on the picks. He has a knack for making the right play and can feed the ball nicely.

I have liked Calathes since his Florida days. Great back-up potential, but I am not sure of his European buyout.

Me too :). Him and Parsons very nice players

Ethan J. Skolnick @EthanJSkolnick

Just said this on @TheTicketMiami: from what I am hearing from multiple sources, the Heat are likely to amnesty Mike Miller today.

simple trade
Jennings S&T/Ersan
for
Gay/Lowry/2nd

BJ/Ross/DD/Ersan/Val - might be my new favorite team.
Compton Boys reunite.

Lowry/Mayo/Gay/Henson/Sanders is better than what they have now as well.
Gay's contract s scary, but he is an upgrade over Delfino.

simple, brought up before but without Aaron Gray because i expect Camby to be bought out and Gray could be decent to keep around as a big body.

To SAC: Fields + 2014 2nd RD Pick (OKC) + 2017 2nd RD Pick (NYK)
To TOR: Hayes + Fredette

balances out both rosters nicely.

- Kleiza amnestied
- Camby + Richardson bought out.
- Chris Wright signed

Kyle Lowry / Jimmer Fredette / Dwight Buycks
Demar Derozan / Terrence Ross
Rudy Gay / Steve Novak / Chris Wright
Amir Johnson / Tyler Hansbrough / Quincy Acy
Jonas Valanciunas / Chuck Hayes / Aaron Gray

team remains below luxury tax, we get tougher with Hayes and add another good shooter in Fredette. That is a Dwayne Casey type team.

2 expiring vets that help now. A young big to add to the Scottie timeline
I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

probably the best "easy" tweak we can make. solves PG and add a big which we still need.

With the Kleiza amnesty, how much cap space do the raptors have available to sign an UFA PG or other player (using cap space, MLE, BE etc)?

I like Jimmer for his shooting . I don't see why he can't carve out a specialty in the league. But that PG depth is pretty bad. The only way it works is because Rudy can handle the ball well (although his ability to create for others is up for debate).

I like that trade, but I think Casey would prefer a more pass-first type. Fredette is just an undersized shooter/scorer off the bench.

Amensity Kleiza
Buyout Camby and Q-rich
Sign JO and PHO medical miracle staff
Sign Joey Dorsey (been really good in Europe)
Sign JJ(underrated in SAC)

Trade 1: Ross, Acy, 2014 2nd rounder, NY 2017 2nd rounder for Scola, Shannon Brown

Trade 2: Gray, Camby 2014 2nd rounder(OKC) to Dallas for VC and S&T for Brandon Wright

PG:Lowry, Brown, Buycks
SG:DD, VC, Fields
SF:Gay, Novak, JJ
PF:Scola, Amir, Phyco T, Dorsey
C:JV, JO, BW

Thats a good starting lineup and bench. Scola provides offence but little defence, but we do need a low post scorer. bench looks great, ill also try to pick-up Barbosa or trade for Lou Williams, Terry, Crawford
We stay under the tax and make a play off push.
who would you guys want more? JJ for his amazing defence and blocks or Dorsey as another hustle guy.
JJ has beef with Casey but can it work out?

Dont judge my post to harsh jus tryna have fun :D

I'm not sure if trading Ross for Marshall is a good deal as I never saw KM play last season but I would guess that that's likely in the ballpark of 'fair'. Both had terrible rookie seasons really.

Ross>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Marshall

Even the dunk contest winner alone brings extra fans to ACC to see if he will do something spectacular. What would Marshall bring to this team?

Prefer we blow the team up a bit. Trade Lowry and gay and keep the rest until the deadline then look to move Novak and Fields for any sort of value.

Gay for Gordon+2014 1st

Lowry for Knight

The dunk contest!?! Well lets just move Ross to the untouchable list list then shall we? God knows I buy tickets everytime Utah comes to town just to watch Jeremy Evans do something spectacular.

Masai is overrated.
I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

Evans is kinda the exception, Vince Carter, Dominique Wilkins, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, Jason Richardson, Dwight Howard.. all sell tix.

There is a reason Wilkins sold more posters than Bird or Johnson. Young fans like Dunkers.

Beaubouis would be nice. I remember when he was a rookie and everyone was raving about his defensive potential. Haven't seen him play much at all. How'd he turn out?
Robinson would just be very entertaining to watch.
Henry can shoot the 3 ball, which is more than can be said for all our other wings.
