Chemistry between players is not something you have a specific recipe for. The sooner they get to work gelling, getting to know each other, practicing, experimenting, the sooner the fun begins. So by the time training camp starts they'll have a comfort level that they won't be "discovering" during the 1st half of the regular season.

Ray Allen likes to note that what he distinguished with the two Raven's Superbowls he played in was Team Chemistry, and he places that as #1 for the reason why both superbowls were won.

The 49ers Dynasty Era had that same level of chemistry.

All reports indicate that the Rockets as a team are close-knit and they "get it" at least the leadership (parsons, harden, lin, howard, garcia) they really grasp the fun aspect as well as the competitive aspect.

When people talk about playing for their teammates, or soldiers talk about the guy in the fox-hole with them. Its that chemistry you can't just throw a recipe timeline for and expect it will happen ~ due to the nature that your dealing with human beings, differing personalities, backgrounds, cultures, etc. All these are HUGE.

Oh and on a side note a number of other teams have quietly also started off-season team workouts together.

Dwight made a great choice and I think he'll have the best moments of his career with the Rockets.

Probably the only time in his life where he stood with 4 other people and he's the shortest one.

Stephen a, with dumb closet laker fan woman, and the senile old man is annoying. What Nelly said was totally correct. And Stephen A and his crew just blinded by kobe and biased by their love for lakers and kobe

I wish Shaq would stop being so harsh towards Dwight.

He really comes off as extremely bitter and critical. It's almost like he has a personal grudge against D12. Considering how Dwight idolised him growing up, I'd be flattered if I was in the Diesel's position. Instead, he's just always taking shots at him.

I get the whole, "because Dwight copied me" idea as why he is always so negative but seriously, that guy needs to just take a chill pill.

Lost a lot of respect for Shaq, one of the players I used to love, as a result of this ordeal.

Hakeem, Ralph, Howard, Yao, Clyde, Murphy, and Alexander sit down together and talk about Dwight's signing with Rockets. I missed it on TV last night, but here are some clips of it.
