I disagree. He tried to make a good plan and it didn't pan out. That was a heads up play and was trying to do something good. And who cares if DeAndre has to go to the line. He is a terrible free throw shooter.
Ok. Let's say he does it one hundred times. It's a foul every time. How many times does he stop the dunk? I would tend to go with zero, but let's say 20. Jordan scores 160 points on dunks and gets 120 FTs, of which he makes 1/3. So back to 200 points.
25 times, Brandon Knight dies of internal bleeding.
We are talking about this dunk right?
That dunk was really tough and I think everything had to go right for DJ on his timing and the feed to catch from that spot and throw it down from that far away. The dunk was just impressive by DJ and I bet if you tried the same thing 100x he would get an and1 33%, fouled 33% for 2 shots, and miss the other 33%. I take my chances on contesting Jordan than giving him an easy dunk.
Nothing about Brandon Knight being there made that dunk less likely.
