I don't think 24 mpg is ridiculous at all...the hope is that Pierce and KG are only playing 28 mpg anyway. I would personally like to see them closer to 25 mpg...especially KG. I'd be ok with Pierce at around 30 mpg, max.

But to play them 24 mpg and have them play about 6 minutes less than normal...why isn't that possible? Just play AK and Blatche an extra 6 minutes.

Anywhere from 24-28 mpg for KG and anywhere from 26-30 mpg for Pierce works imo.

i dont see the need to limit pierce much. guy is an ironman who has had no issue playing 34 mpg the past 4 seasons and is coming off an excellent season. 28-30 minutes for pierce, especially in a lesser role is fine. as a comparison, a 36 year old kidd played 80 games at 36 minutes per night.

i see no need to limit JJ's minutes at all.

KG you need to monitor. i think 26-28 mpg is fine. i think more days off is more likely to benefit him the fewer minutes. id give him 10-12 off days or so. if he plays 70 games at 26 minutes that should be fine to keep him fresh

More days off make more sense actually. Especially on back-to-backs...

In some situations you need energy off the bench. This suits more for AK and Terry. Not familiar with JJ game that much as I'm a brand new Nets fan :)

Yeah either days off or less minutes is fine with me. The playoff/serious game rotation should be something like this:

DW 38/ SL 10

JJ 34 / JT 8 / PP 6

AK 23 / PP 25

KG 30 / AK 8 / AB 10

BL 36 / AB 12

I would think a lot of people would want to start Evans and bring KG off the bench. Aren't you guys concerned with your Center/PF only combining for 16 boards a game last year? Luckily you have a solution with the best rebounder in the game in Evans.

Plus KG is gonna rest a lot anyway. And by the way, there's no reason you you can't have both Joe and KG off the bench.

No, you start garnett, because his defense is more important then reggies rebounding. Plus, its easy to just make a move to bring someone off the bench if we start getting hammered on the glass.

I do think defensive rebounding will be one of our biggest issues. but its an overaction to start a role playing bench player over your best defender.
