+1

The guy has been making sweeping generalizations pertaining to "knowledge" with nearly everyone on this board and throwing hissy fits when people disagree with his biased positions and saying he's under appreciated. The only reason people are still putting up with him is because many of us don't watch a ton of European basketball.

It's like if I'm talking to you about a lion, and you know nothing about lions, I can tell you, "Well, lions meow, and have green fur, isn't that wild?" You'd take that as fact because you know no different. I think a lot of that's been going on here.

It's kind of how this board works... 90% of the posts are off-topic.

Meanwhile, Greece went down 8 to 0 until they finally put Giannis in. Got a blocked shot, DREB and drew a foul since then.

20-11 now. Scary start for them. It was originally 18-0. Are you box score watching or watching the game?

It started slightly before the 12:15 tip.

Boxscore, can't find the game on the livebasketball.tv. Do they not put it up until after the game finishes? All I see is the Greece/Montenegro game

Turkey is shady as hell. All hard fouls.

First time I have had the chance to watch the Greek freak and Greece play. Do they run plays for him? So far this feels like the Bucks with Tobias Harris, where they shun him out of the offense

He gets the ball occasionally. Larentzakis and Papapetrou are really doing their best Jennings and Ellis routine today though.

He needs to be more aggressive. Late in the half he got a low post touch and drew the foul. Seems like he could do this all game. Often he just swings the ball at the top of the key and looks for the three.

Giannis seems to be an afterthought of the Grecian offense. He looks to be relegated to the off corner. There also does not seem to be a lot of ball movement or passing of any kind built into their offense.

They are 7/16. Let them shoot. G-Bo isn't doing anything that right now that deserves attention.

The one good sign is that G-Bo seems to have a consistently high +/-

Giannis is a corner spacer so the guards can slash and penetrate (and usually chuck up some shot)

Giannis shows a lot of defensive tenacity. That is a very good trait for a player who is young and raw. He looks to get some cheap fouls at the 3 point line, but he is always in front of his man and ready to jump passing lanes. I was hoping that he would showcase a little bit more offensive skill, but he is a hard worker.
