This seems nice, would I necessarily need a yahoo account to join?

:D Nevermind, I thought it would be like a fantasy league draft or something like that  Count me in, batrjan@hotmail.com

I'm mostly on when you and the guys are sleeping and viceversa.....it will only delay the draft process

Will be following the procedures though

Same here, and I'm going on a couple of trips that would delay the process. Sorry to say, but I'm going to have to be a spectator this time.

Looking forward to seeing some nice looking teams though, and this is always a fun way to pass time during the summer. I've done several of these on the PC board a few years ago, and I would recommend people to give it a shot. It's a great way to learn even more Lakers/basketball history!

Also, I'd recommend to consider using a A-B-B-A type draft format, especially in a draft this top heavy. A-B-A-B format will make it really difficult for the bottom picks to do any kind of damage.

Can you elaborate tkb on what that is?

example:

Round 1 (A):

1st pick: Earl
2nd pick: dock
3rd pick: tkb
4th: tycobb

Round 2: (B)

1st pick: tycobb
2nd pick: tkb
3rd pick: dock
4th: Earl

Round 3: (B)

1st pick: tycobb
2nd pick: tkb
3rd pick: dock
4th pick: Earl

Round 4 (A)

1st pick: Earl
2nd pick: dock
3rd pick: tkb
4th pick: tycobb

the idea is that because the people picking earlier in round 1 will have such a huge advantage when grabbing one of the elite superstars, its better to give those picking later in round 1 a little help by letting them pick early in round 2 and 3.

I was planning on doing that. I call it a snake Draft.
Never knew it was called that.

I'll get in on this since it's only 6 players and a coach. PM is best for me, I don't want my email flooded by you neanderthalls :P

We have 10 players.
If we dont get to 20, i might have to tweak the rules to make it more difficult.
