Do you want Aaron Brooks back?

If you came in here thinking no, bet you feel dumb, because he is back....for the third time.

I don't have a negative thing to say about Brooks at this point, if he wants to play for the minimum he is welcome to it! He also could be a trade asset. There is going to be a team in the NBA that loses its point guard early and will be hurting to reload.

We have four point guards now. Something has to be up.

Nothings up texas. We've always had 4 pg's to start a season. And usually the rookie 2nd rounder, goes to the D league to showcase his skills first. So canaan will go d league. And if he is that good, AB will be cut , so canaan will be 3rd pg.

Not bad move, don't know where it places Brooks though. He has a good attitude and a Rocket guy.

But even if we send Canaan to the Vipers he would still count towards the 15 man roster. AB isn't going to sign here as training camp fodder.

1. Dwight Howard
2. James Harden
3. Chandler Parsons
4. Jeremy Lin
5. Omer Asik
6. Terrence Jones
7. Donatas Motiejunas
8. Patrick Beverley
9. Francisco Garcia
10. Greg Smith

11. Aaron Brooks
12. Isaiah Canaan
13. Omri Casspi
14. Reggie Williams
15. Robert Covington

Brooks is the new Mike Harris.

back for the third time

if the front office is too pussy to go into the luxury tax then brooks is a good min contract signing. better than casspi and reggie.

also, we get to see him on our forum again  WELCOME BACK AARON BROOKS. since you wont be playing, you should give us live feed during the game about things we dont see. i wanna know if asik and dwight talk about fighting each other in practice

Aaron Brooks on the Rockets just makes me happy as a fan. He belongs here!

Training camp will be tense though, Lin, Bev and AB will all be pushing each other for that starting position. Trust me AB didn't sign back for the minimum to be a bench warmer and enjoy the blessed Houston scenery!

I'm more excited about Isaiah Canaan than I am about Aaron Brooks.

In other news, Mike Harris has been signed to a non-guaranteed contract. Even if cut, he will be paid 1/2 his salary in the form of Thai hookers, Oreos, and those little ornamental plastic owl things to put in his garden.

**edit** Somebody beat me to the Mike Harris joke. Dang.

Kinda odd given that PG was pretty crowed already, but very cool nonetheless. AB is just a cool dude.

Now... let's trade Lin, shall we.

i don't think we are trying Lin
his market is too valuable
we have Lin, Beverley, and Brooks last year as well
Canaan? don't kid yourself, he's going to the d-league
we don't have any scoring off the bench
Brooks will really help

In English translation.

Aaron Brooks re-sign with the Rockets. As 3rd string pg same as previous season.

There is no reason to speculate who was right or who was "dumb".

Also, want to add that because Houston is currently a "win now" team. Beverley has a high chance of being traded in a package deal. Also, Parsons might be traded as well.

The people that think Lin is on the trading block need to understand that his contract isn't very attractive this season.

If you end up dumping contracts too soon, it might bite you... aka OKC Thunders.
