The Pirates are among the teams said to be interested in Alex Rios and according to sources, they could expand trade talks to include Alexei Ramirez as well.
Pittsburgh is looking to improve both their lineup and bench.
"They definitely need a right fielder," one National League scout said of the Pirates.
