Good win, but no way this team gets by the Warriors if they keep Bazemore and Co. playing

I think the thing I take from this game more than anything is Clifford can coach. He put random dudes in his system and they were able to be effective enough to beat a team that has gone undefeated to this point.

Gold- Clifford
Silver- Gaddy
Bronze- Skeen

Myrtle?

i went to Myrtle Beach to look for Myrtle Manor....couldn't find it lol or i just missed it

Cool, I am going a week from Wednesday through the weekend, I have not been in like 7 years.

Gold - Deron Washington - The Hair Guy went all Glue Guy. He's terrible but in a constructive way!
Silver - Dyson. Whenever the DLeague caught up, Clifford put Dyson in to confuse the h**** out of 'em.
Bronze - Henry Sims, whataspaz, but got big breasted Brian Butch in foul trouble!

ps. I really feel bad for Elijah Millsap, he deserves better.

Coach Clifford must be one hell of a coach compared to these other assistant/rookie coaches in summer league. I'm surprised he was able to win with this group of castoffs without not one of our actual prospects playing.

I covered Skeen's college career...the guy can play. Clearly not in the best shape of his life, but offensively I think his skills are undeniable. 6'8 240+ and he's 4-8 from deep in Summer League play (also hit 45% of his threes in Israel this past season). A real smart player who doesn't take dumb shots, which unfortunately hurts him individually because he doesn't put up the eye-popping ball hog type stats that typically grab attention (118 offensive rating his senior season at VCU though, which was one of the best in college hoops that year).

This is the guy that led the Rams to the Final 4 in 2011. Posted 26 points and 10 rebounds in an Elite 8 win against a Kansas squad that ended up having three NBA lottery bigs (Morris twins + Robinson).

Obviously I'm biased but I'd love to see a squad give him a shot, get him in the gym to get that endurance/athleticism up, and stash away a dude with some serious size who can score inside and out. Haven't had a chance to see it really because he's been playing outside of the arc a lot on offense, but dude's got a really nice post game too. Glad I'll get another chance to watch him play in Vegas this summer.

Gaddy surprised me, show good skills for a PG. He is just 21 year old.

Let's see his performance tomorrow.

And... I like Henry Sims, even he doens't make his shots, but clearly he has a potencial. I think he could be a part of the Training camp roster.

Gaddy looked good attacking the basket. Only negative: 1 assist to 4 turnovers. Not the ratio you want out of your point guard, but it's just one game.

I know this is only a game, and my analysis is only about this game, and not about the future.

While thats true you got to view assists as more a team effort. He passed it well enough, just the other guys couldn't finish when he did so. But I agree, 4 turnovers is a no no.

If I was giving out hammers, Dyson would get my vote for gold. He had 12 points, 5 assist, and 3 rebounds in only 19 minutes, and basically staved off the D-League Select's comeback at the end if you ask me. Gaddy would get my vote for silver and Skeen would get my vote for the bronze. I love how Clifford manage to keep execution simple and stay away from the gimmicky stuff like Dunlap did last year.

Gaddy looked fine tonight vs. D League talent, but has looked atrocious the last 4 games versus NBA talent.

If it were up to me I would sign Demetri McCamey (MIN) or DJ Kennedy (MIA) as our PG3. But I'll be shocked if our PG3 come Oct isn't Jerome Dyson.
