I remember watching this video last June & thinking this is the easiest pick anyone could make.

I woulda taken him #1 easily. I said it then.

Assuming DET leapfrogged the other teams instead of NOH... I would have tried to trade with WAS. Monroe/Knight/Stuckey/JJ/#1 for Wall/Okafor/#3 and taken him there.

I did the same thing. But then there was a brief panic attack, with me sitting there thinking, what if Joe drafts John Henson anyway. I actually kinda got scared for a minute.
Does anybody remember, did we take the full 5 minutes to make the Drummond pick?

After watching this video I still stuck to my prediction from the draft lottery night of him sliding to us, you can never trust a GM picking in the top 5

The Kings had to be thinking, "We've got Cousins. He's sortof trouble. We need a PF, not a C. Thomas Robinson is supposed to be good, everyone says so, and he's a PF."

NIce call. Worked out very well.

And this year, I think they went 0-2 with McLemore.

I'm glad the Kings were morons. I would say "still", but they didn't pass on McLemore and McCallum this year.

Thank the Cavs. They made a terrible pick...as usual...and T-Rob "dropped" to the Kings.

Man, I know that people want him to go full on to his post game development, but I see very amazing potential in his jumper as well. Honestly, he can probably play 3, 4, and the 5 positions quite reasonably if he develops both his post and shooting ability.

Nah, I definitely wouldnt have traded Monroe, forget that Wash wouldnt trade Wall for anything & we were giving up too much.

Hopefully you dont edit my post again for disagreeing with you lol

From about 2 on, I kept repeating "are you serious" after each team passed on him.

Except my voice grew louder with every pick, by 8 when those morons took Ross I just laughed evilly.

I have never edited a post for disagreement reasons.

I did edit one post where I posted too quickly and immediately went to edit my own post and in the minute it took someone quoted me. That, I edited to match what I meant to say so if that was you... sorry about that.

IF the edit was in red... it would be due to breaking of TOS rules and it would have my name attached.

Freepress about Dre & Monroe training with Hakeem... "DrumMonroe are on their way to Las Vegas for USA basketball's mini camp from July 22-25, so maybe they'll stop in Houston afterward" (to train with Hakeem.)

Hard to say on WAS end of things. It would have got them a #1 pick replacement for Wall in Davis as well as a lot more. I think they would seriously have considered such a deal at that point in time.

As for our end of things... I would much prefer a chance at a superstar duo to build around but that is just my opinion so we will have to agree to disagree on that aspect.

you have to think that not only is this going to help their skill levels, if they are spending that much time in the same place, the chemistry between them will get a huge boost too, and it already seems like its on a very high level.

You definitely edited my post because we disagreed but it doesnt matter, most mods do stuff like that in my mb experiences. Its why mods are pointless to me, internet cops lol but it no big deal, I didnt take it personal bro. Youve complimented my posting before.

Wash would never trade Wall, Davis's potential isnt close to Wall's. Monroe would have interested them but they still would have passed.

On our end it makes no sense, we already have a potential superstar duo in Monroe & Drummond who literally fit & compliment each other perfectly. I wouldnt trade a near All Star 7 footer & a good at worst case 6th man in Brandon for a PG either, let alone 1 for 3.

I just woulda taken Andre at #1 & called it a day.

Yeah man, they already seem to have a great friendship off the court & couldnt play any better together on the court so this could improve all of that which is exciting to think about.
