I was hoping to see Kershaw pitch during this series but I guess I'll have to settle for Puig

ONE of these teams clawed themselves back into the playoff race.

(Go Jays! :-? )

Just a bit easier to accomplish such a feat in the worst division in baseball with no good teams opposing them.

Puig is going to meet reality big time in the second half. It's already started. He had previously never gone two straight games without a hit.

I think the lineup needs a little shuffling.

Reyes
Rasmus
JoeyBats
EE
Lind
Melky
Izturis
JPA
Lawrie

All I did is move Rasmus to the two spot, since he's been hitting well and would set the table for Bats and EE. When Reyes gets on base, we need someone to take some pitches then advance him before the power hitters come up.

^^ +1 boggles my mind that bautista is in the 2 spot. then we have all the yes man saying you need you best hitter in the 2 spot. If thats the case, we should see Miggy in the 2 spot? AA pulling the strings from his box office.

Lawrie should be at 3rd and Derosa at 2nd. This season has been bull- **** .

4 straight games Bonafacio hasn't started.

That's a good thing. Derosa sucks at 2B. he's better fit at 3B

Derosa has played enough 2nd over his career(2384 innings) that he would instantly be a better pick than Lawrie at 2nd. Many defensive stats show that Derosa is a better 2nd baseman than 3rd baseman. And lastly, we already know Lawrie is great 3rd baseman.

But you need factor in that the Jays are trying to groom Lawrie back to a 2B. Ok stats say Derosa is better at 2b than 3b, but is one game gonna make or break this season?
