Those are the shots he didn't really have a lot in this summer league, and the ones he will be living off of in the NBA - and the quality of those shots will just get better with him not being a first option and benefiting from kickouts and the attention other people, namely DeMarcus, draw.
Speaking of Demarcus, this is where things might get tricky as far as Thornton and McLemore go. If Thornton starts (probable) then Ben probably won't see much time playing alongside DMC. Gotta hope that Landry and Isaiah can draw enough attention to allow Ben to not be the focal point of the opposing defenses, otherwise he might have a lot of summer league-esque performances.
I also hope that Landry learned to pass so that he can kick it out to Ben but that is for another thread...
Since this team hasn't made any moves that suggest trying to win every game and stifling development in the process is the goal, I'm hoping they try out Vasquez, Thornton, and McLemore together. In totality that should be a decent amount of size and Vasquez can handle some SF's depending on matchups.
