Hey guys, quick public service announcement:

I think I've decided that I'd like to start a new keeper league made up of interested RealGMers.

I'm thinking I'd like to start with 12 guys, but I guess I'll just open it up and see what kind of a response I get.

Actually...

I am going to withdraw my renewal.

Just don't have the time to give it a full effort and FFL deserves better. Was being selfish, trying to keep my spot in the league.

It's been great playing with you guys....all the best!

Sad to see you go, Sk1p. I'll miss the endless trade talks and sometimes pointless banter about player value. Good times.

So, still no Cy, Hopper or 3Si. And Sk1p has moved on as well.

We'll have at least one opening. Maybe 4.

Jordan (Youngstar) came back from retirement so he might be interested in filling up one of those spots.

From those who havent checked in yet, I'm 90% sure 3Si will be back. He is very active and always around come draft time. Hopper is 50/50 in my book and I would guess Cy wont be back.

Why wouldn't CY be back? In my experience, these 3 guys are the guys who don't show up until August. Has anyone emailed them?

He has been skipped multiple times in recent years, dropped out from another league we run and generally seems to have less available time than he used to be. I hope I'm wrong but we'll see.

ummm came back to check but nothing's commenced yet?

we started the draft in the 2nd or 3rd week of august last year if I remember correctly. When are we planning to start this year? As I have strongly stated a few times, I do believe the draft has to finish before exhibition games. 99% of the free agents signed with a team, so I say let's start working it out, it will take us at least 2 weeks to start anyway with everyone checking in etc.
