I can't quite put my finger on it but something seems off.

This is amazing hahaha

The Sad 3 dig is great too.

Realy though...what are the Bucks doing? Lose out on Teague, give up on Jennings, sign a center? Huh?

Gooden gone too. Maybe they should have kept him there to help get Wiggins.

DeMarcus Cousins Wants To Be Best Big At Team USA Minicamp, Says He Has No Competition:

According to Marc Stein of ESPN, Cousins’ humility went missing when he was pressed to elaborate on his intent to “come in and try to be the best big [in camp].”

Asked to identify his competition for that unofficial title — in a camp that also features the likes of Anthony Davis, Andre Drummond, Kenneth Faried, Derrick Favors, DeAndre Jordan, Greg Monroe and Larry Sanders — Cousins shot back with a quick: “Nobody.”

Cousins is the most talented basketball player on that list. He should have high expectations for himself. Humility can be very endearing in those who are truly great at what they do, but for those who still need to to climb the ladder, humility can all too often be a comfortable hiding place for a lack of ambition. There is a power to verbalizing your goals and expectations. Once you put it out there, you tend to hold yourself more accountable for pride's sake if nothing else works for you. When/IF Cousins fails to be the best big man at USA camp, that would be the appropriate time to mock him. Answering a question with aggressive an enthusiastic ambition is not something we usually scorn in most competitive fields.

Cousins is right. The best people to try and stop him are Drummond, favors, and sanders but they all don't have any type of offensive game. Anthony davis might get hurt trying to guard cousins.

I don't think what Cousins said was absurd. It's the kind of mentality you want your dominant big to adopt. The issue is with Cousins himself staying focused. But still he's just 22 and has such an immense talent base to work with. We'll probably debate till' eternity on whether or not he gets there, but he's definitely got a good shot to be the most dominant big there.

Brandan Wright got 10 mil for 2 years with an additional 1 mil in incentives...Did not expect that high a number. Also wonder who else was bidding for him to get that kind of coin. His numbers were nice though.

Speights is a bargain compared to that BW contract.

Brandan Wright got a contract a guy with +2.2 RAPM probably should get.

Speights is -2.5.

I don't think you can draw a players value from RAPM or +/-. It shows the impact relative to his team, but not his value. My own rating system had Speights valued at $4,570,001 and Wright at $6,753,422.

RAPM has demonstrated some power to predict how a lineup might do.

What correlation does your rating have with future results?

I don't think it can predict it better than any other stat. I think it reflects the impact a player had on a specific team in a specific role relative to the teams lineups.

Nash saw a 220% increase when he went to Phoenix and an 83% decease when he left. I don't think his game changed that much, but his team and role did.

DAL -1.4
DAL -1.2
DAL 0.7
DAL 1.9
DAL 1.9
DAL 1.5
PHX 4.8
PHX 5.3
PHX 6.0
PHX 5.5
PHX 3.8
PHX 4.6
PHX 5.0
PHX 4.2
LAL 0.7

Wright was significantly more valuable to Dallas than Speights was to Cleveland, but I don't think they are far apart as overall players.
