I heard on the radio today that Braun refused to answer questions from MLB, now he is being suspended.

Braun is Rafael Palmeiro 2.0

65 games?

I thought its 50 or 100 games?

can some1 explain this or was this a negotiated settlement

when he escaped on the technicality last time, he went out of his way to demean the MLB and the guy who handled his test. Pathetic.

65 games is light when thinking of it in that regard.

My assumption is that because Braun didn't fight the suspension he negotiated for the rest of the season.

His test was improperly handled, that's a pretty huge deal. If the collector did his job, Braun is suspended the first time and MLB doesn't have to go and change their collecting procedures.

I'm not that upset, I don't really care about PED's, especially when we have an (alleged) girlfriend beater and drunk driver on our team. I don't see the outrage over that because OMG PED's! Think of the children!

"There were a lot of things that we learned about the collector, about the collection process, about the way that the entire thing worked," Braun said, "that made us very concerned and very suspicious about what could have actually happened."

The collector didn't do his job. He never said he did do anything, he just suggested what could have happened since his sample was not properly handled by the collector. That's on the collector and MLB basically admitted the collector handled the sample wrong when they changed the collection policy a month afterwards.

Braun should have kept it at the facts.

you take the words "about the collector" out of his statement and his story is just the same as it was before without an implication of anything about the collector.
