Good. I swear it seems to be the in thing these days. I know a few Asian girls and it seems like a lot of em expect their guy to walk around with their purse since it's too heavy.

Basketball is quite popular, but soccer is alot more popular due to the relative success of our National Team on the World Stage. I personally enjoy playing soccer more than basketball, because endurance is more my thing, but as a fan, NBA > Football every day of the week.

The popularity of basketball among Fillipino's and Chinese is amazing. Even today I was playing pickup at Uni with some mates, and half an hour in there were about 5 Chinese Students just sitting there watching us, and asking if they could play. They love the sport to bits.

I'm a Filipino and basketball is heavily worshipped in the Philippines. Whenever I have a chance to head over to the homeland, I try to catch a PBA game. Too bad I wasn't there to see Renaldo Balkman go crazy live.

I was in a number of high schools in the remote hill country of Leyte summer before last. I would speak to school assemblies and tell them I was from Phoenix Arizona. The kids would all scream "Steve Nash." Then they would lick their fingers, pretend to push their hair behind their ears, and take an imaginary free throw.

Nash seems to be a sort of cult hero in the Philippines. I think its because he is so good, but his playing style seems attainable
