TOR trades

Rudy Gay $17,888,932
Terrence Ross $2,678,640
Landry Fields $6,250,000
Aaron Gray $2,690,875
2014 pick (top 10 protected)
2018 first round pick
3mill cash

TOTAL: $29,508,447

LAL trades

Kobe Bryant $30,453,805
Robert Sacre $788,873

TOTAL: $31,242,678

this trade helps LA with their rebuilding efforts in adding a young talent in Terrence Ross and multiple picks. this also helps toronto effort to win now and also, shedding some unwanted salary

I accept always hard to move Kobe from LA but he will be treated like a king in toronto and given the keys to the city. I get Ross and 2 picks to add to the rebuild whilst Rudy Gay is an all star calibre player who I can flip if I feel needed. Gray expires so meh and Landry is a young, solid rotation player.

New York Sends:
J.R Smith -- $5,565,000

Milwaukee Sends:
John Henson -- $1,905,360
MIL 2017 2nd Round Pick

Deal works as MIL has the necessary cap space to absorb J.R's contract. NYK accepts. We get a nice prospect who has lots of room to grow, and get rid of J.R Swish who wasn't really apart of our future plans

Confirmed. Do this out for value. JR Smith is a 6MOTY who is only making 5 mil a season. Good value for a undersized 4 prospect whose ceiling is a rotation player in this league.

C Kendrick Perkins ($8,727,437)
Total Salary: $29,799,068

PF Derrick Williams ($5,016,960)
PF Patrick Patterson ($3,105,302)
Total Salary: $26,971,602

Part Two
Kings Receive:
PG Jordan Farmar (Vet Minimum)
SF Wesley Johnson (Vet Minimum)
PF Jarvis Vanardo (Vet MInimum)

LA Lakers Receive:
2015 2nd Round Pick
1 million cash

While this effectively kills any chance of being players in the 2014 FA market, I'm also not dumb enough to think that the Kings can ever draw any notable FA to Sacramento without drastically overpaying them. I like Rudy Gay quite a bit, but I hate bringing back the cave man.

Lakers accept, we love Derrick Williams how young he is and his potential. Rudy was never in our long term plans.

Boston agrees, we shed multiple roster spots and gain a really good prospect in Henson.

Oh yeah, and we use Jordan Crawford's TPE to take back Henson.

The Mavs accept.

Our scouting doesn't know much about Vitor Faverani but we do realize Vince Carter is at the end of his career so we make this trade to gain a young SG in MarShon Brooks to give him an opportunity to shine in a new city on a new team (since he never got to play in Beantown).

Good dealin' Biz for making this happen.

Klomp wrote:League Memo: Suns and Pistons agree to deal (#30)

The Phoenix Suns and Detroit Pistons came to terms on a four-player deal Wednesday night. In the deal, the Suns will acquire veteran F Jeff Green as well as G Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who was the 8th selection in the 2013 NBA Draft. Phoenix will also receive the Mavericks' 2014 1st round pick (Top-20 protected) and Detroit's 2014 2nd. In return, the Pistons will receive F Caron Butler and G Eric Bledsoe.

The Suns' organization felt this was an important step in the rebranding of the franchise. Green will be going to the best medical staff in the NBA, and Caldwell-Pope produces on both ends of the court and has solid potential.

Trade Math
Phoenix Incoming: $8,700,000 (Green) + $2,653,080 (Caldwell-Pope) = $11,353,080
Detroit Incoming: $8,000,000 (Butler) + $2,626,473 (Bledsoe) = 10,626,473

Pistons accept this skillfully prepared trade announcement (kudos!). I wanted to get better and add flexibility. Accomplished both of those things with this deal.

Clearly works within our 1.5x trade limit.

We accept. We don't need Zeller at PF with Zach Randolph, Serphin and Ed Davis. We upgrade our Point Guard by bringing in Ricky Rubio. Shved also has some upside as a backup combo Guard and we like Ray McCallum as a nice 3rd string PG. Good dealing Minnesota and good luck

Well I'm not much of a believer in Jared Sullinger and I would've probably traded him for $2M and a 2nd rounder, so the rest of the deal came down to Bargnani for an expiring deal, which of course, I did in a heartbeat. I guess poopdamoop likes Sullinger and Bargnani more than I do. Good dealing bro.

Confirmed. Sullinger had a pretty promising rookie year, and is worth taking on an extra year of Bargnani for. 2 mil in cash and a 2nd rounder won't really amount to much.

As good as Reggie Jackson has been, Collison's role on a cheap contract, and the current makeup of the team, OKC could not turn this down. Turner at times shows flashes of an all star level player, while his inconsistency makes him look less then so. This makes him a great 6th man at our weakest position, on a depleted bench. Whether paired with Curry/Durant or Curry/Thabo, Turner's shooting problems will be masked and this might be the best situation for Turner to put it together as he is still young.

Great dealing Saul.
