Make it happen Henny.
When asked his opinion about Oklahoma City’s offseason activity, Kevin Durant offered a three-word response: “I love it.”
Durant then walked away from the media, seemingly upset, while taking in the action at the Team USA minicamp in Las Vegas.
The Thunder let Kevin Martin go in free agency and lost out to the Memphis Grizzlies in the race to Mike Miller.
Miller was personally recruited by Durant.
Make it happen Henny.

All the moves leading up to the Harden trade, moves such as the Perkins trade, the Ibaka extension and so on really set that Harden trade for failure. That is unless Lamb can come in this year and be a big time player to take some pressure off of Durant.

It'd be awesome if we save most of our cap space until he is a free agent and we sign him to go with our core and possibly Marcus Smart.
PG: Marcus Smart
SG: Victor Oladipo
SF: Kevin Durant
PF: Tobias Harris
C: Nikola Vucevic
6th Man: Maurice Harkless
Amazing team

Not changing this Sig until the Orlando Magic win a championship (Technically Started 1-30-08)

i think plenty of us knew that Washington wasnt going to let him get away. for a big market team, they havent always been the best at attracting FA's, so they tend to overpay like small markets.
I never really thought we had a shot at Wall, but I am shocked that they wouldn't just wait a year. If you are offering the max anyway, that price won't be different next summer. Why not keep your options open?
Also, people like to attribute FA destinations to market size, but it's winning that brings in free agents. Philly is the number 4 market in the country and no one ever clamors to go there. Dallas is the number 5 market in the country and has had max cap room the past two summers and only have Monta Ellis and Jose Calderon to show for it. The only advantage large markets have over small markets is that their attendance isn't really as affected by bad seasons.

If we really want to tank, why don't we bring in Brandon Jennings on a 1 year contract and tell him that this is his chance to prove he is worth the max? I guarantee you he would shoot 20 shots per game and his sub40% shooting keeps us in the loss column for another season.

Really? That team is only amazing in 2k13, but would not work in real life. For example, what is the shot distribution gonna be like?

Nelson actually did a better job of helping us tank last season... he was injured a lot, turned it over and shot terribly.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt.LX Offseason Edition)
This is sort of random, but...
Going into last season, we all knew that JJ was going to be traded, and Henny waited right up until the deadline to pull the trigger. Do we think that Milwaukee put Harris on the table earlier in the season or that they only upped their offer as the deadline approached?
I ask because I think this tells us a little about Henny's priorities. He was willing to keep JJ longer at the risk of winning one or two extra games thanks to his contributions because Henny wanted to get the best possible deal for JJ. That is, he valued the return on that trade above our lottery ranking. If Henny keeps the same priority, then we are likely to see Meer, AA, and BBD all get plenty of action early in the season even if that means hurting our tanking efforts.
In other words, I'm presenting this as evidence for why I think we are unlikely to tank outright from the start of the season.

Sucks for Bucks fans. They essentially traded Harris and Lamb for Ish Smith.
