If we don't win at least 3 games.... we should blow this team up...

Yanks picking up bulk of $22 million left on Soriano's contract in trade with Cubs. So if Buehrle puts in another couple of good innings, can we find a taker for him? I can dream, can't ?

Jeff Passan ‏@JeffPassan 3m
Alex Rodriguez, Vernon Wells and Alfonso Soriano on the same team. Forget Monument Park. That is the Mount Rushmore of dreadful contracts.

We finally found a team worse than us, yet we can't put up more than 1 run on Cy Bedard. >_<

The Cubs are actually picking up the bulk of it according to most reports. If the Jays are prepared to do that with Buehrle (doubtful), they'd easily find a taker.

Love when Buehrle faces a crappy offense. Get that ERA down, Mark.

That's it Mark, pump up that value as much as possible before the trade deadline.

I think they can trade him if they eat $20M or so of the rest of that contract.

Buehrle's trade value isn't exactly going to be affected by one start against the Astros. Executives and scouts around the league know what he is. I doubt he's going anywhere.

It could always be worse; we could be fans of the Astros.

He's an innings eater better suited out of the AL East. He would be valuable to many teams, but it's highly unlikely anyone eats his entire contract.

Yep. It's only costing us about 100 million to be 11 games better than the Astros 8-)
