Fatty Felton is usually pretty good once he's worn off the offseason donuts in the second half of the season.

Jennings can sign a "fair" deal next summer and pick the team he plays for. He still gets 4.3 million to play next year. I doubt he is worried about it.

Pick the team to play for? He wants to return to Europe?

He wont get to "pick" his team in the NBA as many teams simply wont want him.

Trade Jennings for Henderson. They could use a PG and we could use a wing player. Both are probably wearing out their respective relationships with their team.

Then trade if you must Ersan for a PG. If there is a team willing, which may be hard to find.

Otherwise F it. PG is fine with Ridnour, Wolters and a little Mayo on the side.

Is Miami better with BJ over Mario? Not a chance.

Raymond Felton in a NYK uniform is better than Jennings. Raymond Felton playing anywhere else? I'd take Jennings over him. Something about playing in New York seems to make that guy look like a top 15 PG.

S&T Jennings ($24m/3yrs) to LA Lakers for Steve Nash and flip the Canadien for Rudy Gay. LA does it b/c Nash & Kobe's game don't complement and Nash is 39 and BJ would do well hoisting 3s next to Kobe. BJ takes it b/c its LA. Nash does it b/c he closes career in home country. Raptors do it b/c of good PR bringing Nash home and Bucks are able to absorb half of Gay’s salary giving cap space Raptors desire. According to HoopsHype, Gay is owed $17.9 mil this year & $19.3 the next. I thought he was under contract for years. Heck he becomes an expiring after this year.

Then trade Udoh & 2nd to Suns for Kendall Marshall who Bucks package with their 2015 LP-1st to OKC for Reggie Jackson, 2nd & Dan Orton as filler.

Sanders-Ersan-Gay-Mayo-Jackson
Zaza-Henson-Delfino-Neal-Ridnour
Orton-Blair-Giannis-Brewer-Wolters

Giannis is ready when Gay expires

I say what the heck... go for it. For better or worse, it gets some national attention for the Bucks... and maybe some increased local fervor that Kohl desires. If the whole thing collapses, considering deals get done... we have some assets to move in the future.

How does that get them national attention? That team is as mediocre as ever.

it doesn't get ntl. attention but it could get 5th seed if Jackson consistently plays at the level of last playoffs.

Hypothetically, if a Bucks PG put up these lines the last 2 seasons:

14/5/3 on .505 TS
13/7/3 on .495 TS

I doubt we'd be calling him above average. He's not a good defender, he shows up fat every year, he has never put up even above average stats (his 'breakout year' was 15/8 on .524) and he's going to be 29. Meh.

He played in Portland that year. Like I said he's pretty awful when not in a Knicks uniform, and average to above average in his two stints in NY. Which is also why I said "better than Jennings".....not exactly saying much.

Felton 14/5/3 on .505 TS, 105 ortg 108 drtg 29yo: above average PG
Jennings 17/6 on .510 TS, 106 ortg 108 drtg 23yo: worst starting PG in NBA

You guys make a lot of sense.

Felton's one great half season in NY he was 16/8 on .524. He's really not very good.

When did Jackson suddenly become a great PG? He doesn't set anyone up and the drop off from Westbrook to Jackson is the reason OKC wasnt representing the West in the Finals. The majority of Thunder fans complained about Jackson's play being detrimental to the team during the playoffs because he was trying to take more shots than Durant once he got semi-comfortable on the floor.

Again, not what I said at all. I repeat, I would take NEW YORK KNICKS Raymond Felton over Brandon Jennings. Go ahead and look at his 2010-2011 numbers before the Melo trade. 17 pts, 9 assists, 3.6 boards, and 1.8 steals on 42% shooting, 86% from the line, in 54 games.

His numbers fell so much last year because he was maybe like the 4th option on offense as opposed to a solid #2 option in his first stint. All in all, he's an average starting PG at best. Jennings is below average, yet i'd still take him over Felton if Felton isn't playing for NY. Some ridiculous criticism it's receiving for what was a partially tongue-in-cheek comment.

Felton sucks. Dude would be even more inefficient then Jennings in his role, is just as bad a defender and maybe only slightly better passer. Jennings is a better version of Felton IMO, not by a whole lot, but he's better.

Outside of the fact I want nothing to do with Gay at anything north of 4M and he is getting 20MM, the Lakers can't do SnT so my fears cannot be realized.

Who said RJ was a great PG? Show me. I said much better than Bj. Don't have to be great to be better than BJ. He's had little PT and has lots of upside. Who knows if he realizes his potential or not? But like Bledsoe I prefer if possible a young guy that could pop over BJ who pooped.
