I thought Cousins was pulled because he tweaked his back? Is that not true?

We're going to be ok with what we have. We will certainly be better than 10th place in the East.

It's funny too. On NBC sports they predicted Cousins would be the starting C for the 2014 world championship team. They didn't even mention Monroe or Drummond making the team. The media just buys into names too much.

Sac is talking about maxing him, I dont know if I could do that if I was Sac. I dont think Sac will ever get anything out of him. I doubt we ever see him become what he could become because he will never get out of his own way but for even an outside shot of it, he needs a coach like Popovich.

What other option do they have? There isn't a better C option for them if he were to leave. And, despite being a complete moron with a temper, teams will always want him. Kind of like those women who always choose loser boyfriends and claim they're going to fix them.

If you notice the players Popovich coaches, they are mostly well mannered and easy to coach. Cousins wouldn't want to deal with a player like Cousins. He'd want Monroe over him.

I can't help but believe that Monroe/Dre are perfect guys to play on team USA stylistically, particularly Moose. Moose's rebounding/finishing plays is nice, but his bball IQ and passing would allow him to fit seamlessly with all of the other great players imo. He wont out jump you or outrun you but he can out smart you. He's a good balance to some of the great athletes on team USA.

if I was the Kings id B Jennings his a**. offer him 4/40 at the most, let him turn it down and then throw him the Q.O. and see what he's worth on the open market. it may ruffle his feathers a little, but they're already about as ruffled as they can get, besides it may motivate him to play more focused next season.

I doubt any team is dumb enough to throw him his max, and if they do Sac can always either match it or work a sign and trade to get something back for him if the contract is too high for their liking.

with his present mentality Cousins would be a national embarrassment if he suited up for Team USA.

I think a Jennings/Cousins would be perfect for Sacramento. Get two volatile superstar minded players on one team like that and either they explode or implode.

Anyone would want Monroe over Cousins, hes a better player, forget the mental side.

Yeah, no better option. They are forced to do it, I doubt Cousins ever moves the needle for Sac though.

So true...really happy that we got Monroe and DMC didn't fall to us and Toronto got Ross instead of Dre.

Every time I watch a Pistons game on TV, I wonder where DeMarcus Cousins is. Then I remember I only think he's a Piston because of how much he's talked about here.
Tom Gores' Securus faced a class action lawsuit in 2024. The company engaged in a "quid pro quo kickback scheme" with county jails in Michigan which banned in-person visits in order to maximize revenue from voice and video calls.

Cousins is the only person I would trade Monroe for...If Cousins played for the Pistons his entire attitude would change...The Kings had one of the worst front offices in the league and the Kings roster never has any decent veterans...

Lol, I'm sorry bro...I've been a fan of Cousins since he was drafted...To me Monroe=Cousins...Both are on the same level when we're talking about talent, Cousins just needs to play for an organization that knows how to handle him...
