Was hoping Adelman would fall to me, back to the drawing board.

Shocked Doc lasted so long with some of the guys that went before him. Nice pickup.

Well before the big three came along, he wasn't as highly acclaimed. I had him going around that spot.

'Preciate it. Glad to have gotten him.

I thought for sure he'd be gone also.

Doc was Coach of The Year w the Heart n Hustle Magic team well before that and not for nothin' or to put people's HC choices on blast, Doc's teams never underachieved and when he had the talent (Boston) they always delivered and showed up to play and I truthfully cannot say that for all the coaches selected thus far but correct, winning cures mostly everything.

Really glad to have gotten Sloan. Perfect fit with my big three of Nash/Duncan/Nowitzki.

Yeah, I was afraid you'd take him. He was #1 on my list and I was sure you'd take him or my #2....hopefully my #2 lasts one more pick.

Really? I thought the choices were pretty smart so far. Doc has his strengths, but there are still great coaches out there. To be "shocked" seems kinda strong.

Shocked in comparison to the guys that got taken before him...I expected him to go around that spot but not after some of the guys that went.

One guy still on the board that I never thought would be there. I could have taken him but Sloan was a better fit.

I really like Sloan. He was my 2nd choice. Nice fit for your team. I just thought Brown fit my team better. Plus, I couldn't take him because he never won a Championship or even Coach of the Year. Too many early playoff exits and I wanted someone who actually won the Championship. His long successful career cannot be ignored too much though.

Lenny Wilkens for sure...I wouldn't have put him in my Top 20. Rick Adelman & George Karl to much lesser degree.

I'm surprised the coach I had planned on drafting originally is still there. Has won titles, and is responsible for basically creating/molding one of the greatest coaches in history.

Getting a little too descriptive despite not having a name in there. If you don't mind, can you redact that post.

And all with the spurs so the red Auerbach Sloan thing isn't accurate either
