I'd say the Suns and maybe the Magic.

PHX may be trying to take a run at it. PHI could easily dump Thad and Turner if need be and out tank them if need be.

Magic are better at almost every position to the Sixers, Suns are my only worry, they play in the West.

So far Hinkie has made it the most obvious that the tank is on, for his team. Phoenix and Boston being the next most obvious tankers. It's hard to say who will have the worst record though. The 76ers have the least amount of talent, but they have a lot of players who have played together for many years, so continuity could work against the tank. Also, the east only has 5 good teams and at least 6 teams that are terrible. With all of that, my money is on Phoenix for worst record.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

Assuming that something will go wrong like it does every season as a Sixers fan, 'Yes' would be a safe answer to this poll.

As currently constructed, definitely. The team is already better than Phoenix. Orlando, Charlotte, and Utah are all one injury away from being worse than us. If we don't trade away Thad or Turner, we will still likely get a top 5 pick. But if the target is the first pick than we need to make one more trade happen
I speak the truth.

Yes.

Even if we are the worst team in the league I expect to get jobbed in the lottery.

But also there will be a bunch of Vince Carter esque injuries too.

but for us it's top 5 or bust anyway...we should be good for that.

Leave it to Sixers fans to be gloomy even about tanking, lol. Can we stop mentioning Turner in regards to derailing our tank? It's Evan **** Turner, Thad is the sole talented player on this team, well among those that will be playing extensively.

I don't see how anyone could think Phoenix is better. The Sixers will have one of the worst teams in NBA history. How will they score the ball?

It just seems nuts to think Charlotte are going to be a better side than us next season.

In Australia we have a Lebron James. We call him Buddy Franklin.

Pretty even split here. But IMO the goal is to finish in the bottom 3 of the league. That will assure a top 6 pick, and highly likely a top 3 pick. Obviously Wiggins is the ultimate goal, but I think since you can't predict the results of the lottery, just being one of the worst 3 teams is a success.

Top (or bottom?) 3 and I'll be satisfied. This team is going to be seriously, historically bad on the offensive end as currently constructed.

Looking at the rosters, the only team thats close to out tanking us is PHX. Orlando is a much better team than us , which isnt saying much but just look at their young team. Jameer , Oladipo, Tobias Harris and Harkless , Glenn Davis , Vuc.

Like I said , PHX is our biggest competition for being bad. Roster : Eric Bledsoe , Goran Dragic , Shannon Brown , Archie Goodwin , Caron butler , PJ Tucker , The Morris Twins , Gortat and Len. They are hoping Channing Frye will play but thats a wait and see. Heard they will buy out Butler but they are yet to do anything there. Then the players they just acquired in the trade.

I think we are worse than them, but not by much. Its a tight race to lose between them and us. Ill give us the edge for now just because I believe they have a bit more experience and a few more vets than we do.

As long as we let nerlens sit the year and thad doesnt have a breakout season we should be safe from being outtanked.

I think we are putting too much emphasis on loss count as opposed to the odds in the Lottery. We could lose 79 games and still not get the #1 pick so I personally am not putting all hopes on tanking alone. We need some luck on our side. Either way we end up with a top five pick which is good with me especially in 2014.

As long as we tank well enogh to get a top 5 pick we'll be okay. Best case scenario is our pick is in the 1-5 range with the Pelicans pick being somewhere between 6-10.

I know there's a lot of stats floating around that the team with the worst records doesn't always get the 1st pick. There's also the conspiracy theories about the lottery being fixed. I sometimes think about the latter. It would really be fishy if Wiggins ends up in Toronto, wouldn't it?

I think one team will out tank us? Who though is a good question depending on injuries. Suns, Jazz, Kings, Magic, Bobcats, Celtics could all compete in the tank.

Even if we are only the second worst team, we're guaranteed a top 5 pick.

Nobody can and will out-tank us. We have the worst Roster in the NBA.
