Was thinking about how many players got derailed for cocaine in the 70s; fortunately it seems now the main drug issues are PEDs and weed.

The all-time Cokehead team (feel free to correct me or make additions)

ISTR Magic indulged a bit in the 80s as well (though it never became a public problem).

There's a hell of a lot of talent in those teams, quite a lot of it wasted.

That would be the Pepsi team . . . . though I guess you could make a gambling issues team with Jordan, Roger Brown and Connie Hawkins (both banned from the NBA for associating with gamblers when the ABA was starting up), Alex Groza, etc.

Bias should be the Cokehead rookie of the year. Apparently he was rather inexperienced with Coke. Richardson was unusual in that he apparently played high quality good team basketball while intoxicated on coke in the game. Don't try that at home kids.
