"OMFG HOW CAN YOU SAY TO TRADE BOSH! HES ONE OF THE BIG 3@@!! HES ON A POSTER ON MY WALL IN MY ROOM AHHHH"

Asik is a better rebounder, an elite rebounder in the NBA. He's a better interior defender than Bosh, and he can finish around the rim better than Bosh.

So yes, Wade-LeBron-Asik (+1 more role player in the difference in salary between Asik-Bosh) would be better than Wade-LeBron-Bosh.

Our offense relies on spacing to get Wade and LeBron into the lane. Until Wade develops a reliable long range jumper, we'll need a floor spacer. Now, Bosh next to a rebounding center can work better, but even that person is gonna want to shoot that 10-15ft shot to keep the defense honest. I imagine that's why Jarvis spent so much time working on his shot.

Bosh is not going to get 10+ rebounds on this team, he is more than capable to do it for a full season though as he did in Toronto. This team needs him in the role (or Spo seems to think) as a jump shooter which he is usually very good at. Asik can't be the jump shooter we need and it would force Wade to take the Bosh role. Asik can't be trusted to put up 20 ppg in the paint and Wade will not work as a jump shooter.

You have an obvious hatred towards Bosh. He is fine here.

This is considered baiting. This is your only warning.

Just noticed that watchout was monitoring this forum. My guess is his sources have us signing Oden today or tomorrow.

No offense watchout. Just setting the table for you.

Didn't Watchout have us signing Amare in 2010? I don't remember the specifics but I know last time he made a prediction he was horrendously incorrect.

I remember him guaranteeing the Bosh one but ehhhhh.

I also remember something about him saying Dalembert being a done deal after the 2011 Finals?

He reminds me of a guy named hotnuke who used to post on the ESPN message boards back in the late '90s. However, that poster was correct almost every time, and was several days ahead of the major media outlets.

No it was Bosh actually if I remember correctly with BigDaddyPR breaking the LeBron news.

WatchOut also had Kenyan Martin and a few other missed signings. Even a decent insider can't be right that often. Hell I'm surprised people even risk it. I've heard things but I would risk anything to gain respect by a board who will question and thing either way.

That's very true about Martin and I agree. Not to ask you to tell what you've heard but has any of it come to fruition ever? I'm more curious about if the organization has leaks get out to those close by more than what they are.

Surprised anyone on this board remembers it:) ESPN boards used to be the place to be as a Heat fan. I went by ZoisKing then. I would still, but there is some problem with it. That poster's prognostications had us on the edge of our seats.

Ohh maybe you're right and I remember him telling us specifically about meeting someone at a lounge or a bar who worked for the heat telling him.

Really, cause I really wouldn't give a ****. RealGM Heat Board is -easily- the worst collection of Heat posters I have ever seen. Ya'll are mostly unknowledgeable and very young. For every good poster like Rex and Gametime3, there's a bunch of HIF's, LikeaBosh's and Shanedude's.

InsideHoops and official Heat forums actually don't think it's so far fetched to move on from Chris Bosh.

Ya'll can have your circle jerk together. Bunch of middle school and high school kids acting like they know anything on the internet.

ANYWAY -------

The Heat's Jordan and Pippen.. Lebron and Wade...... need a defensive rebounding goon. Chris Bosh is a 17 million dollar liability.

1) What is Bosh's stats vs a team that has a legit big man? Hibbert, Duncan, etc. Bosh is just fine when we don't play a legit big man team. When we do though, he's a scrub.

2) Does Asik play with LeBron/Wade or does he play with.... Harden? Who is going to get better open looks at the rim? Look at what Birdman has done around the rim. Bosh can't.

3) If you don't understand why I mentioned LeBron/Wade vs Harden, then you don't know basketball.

If you don't understand why Bosh is a better fit with LeBron and Wade than Asik is then you don't know basketball.

18 yrs old? 19? Don't care, with a stupid ass post like that with no explanation, you aren't important. I posted reasons, you posted a soundbite. When does school start again? Ignored.

To elaborate why Bosh works so well. Lebron is slasher with point guard skills, Wade is a slasher also. Wade and Lebron need space to operate within the lanes and under 12 and to finsh at the rim. Bosh helps spacing with his great mid range shooting and is outstanding help defensive on the rotations . If we had a solid Big ( 7 footer atleast 260lb) that would not be a liability on defensive rotations, good offensive rebounding and post defense to add to the starting line up literally it would be a dream team. But we do not live in a perfect world.

Exactly!!!! Not to mention someone like Aisk would be a liability at the end of game because he is a terrible FT shooter.
