we usually get owned here don't we? I say this is a trap series for oakland, jays take 2 of 3.

Home runs are Dickey's arch nemesis. With the fences so deep, he may have a good game.
Nick Nurse recounting his first meeting with Kawhi:
“We could have gone forever. (Raptors management) kept knocking on the door and I was like, ‘A couple more minutes.’ Because we were really into it."

AJ Griffin at some points looks like he has ace potential and at others like minor league pitcher. His problem is avoiding the big inning due to being prone to giving up the long ball(23 on the season one fewer than RA). With that being said the ball does not travel well during the night games in Oakland so AJ might have some advantage vs. the Jays power lineup. The Wednesday afternoon game is when the ball should carry well but I wouldn't be overly concerned for Dickey because the A's lineup has been in a bit of a funk recently, many of the guys they were depending on to have good seasons are hitting in the .220's or lower.

unfortunately that will also mean that the Jays won't be able to score a run... for the entire series... :(

I'd prefer it not be because of the **** kicking the Athletics are likely to give the team. They're very good.

Might be time to take him out back and put him down.

Or at least give Pillar a look and hope that shutting Melky down will allow him to come back healthier next season.

That's your fault for not turning in 23.5 minutes earlier when things were looking much better.

Surprised it wasn't an inside the park HR the way he was speed-walking to pick up that ball.

I have a feeling that even though the Jays are down 4-0, they are still in control of this game /sarcasm

Yeah Melky shouldn't even be playing. When rosters expand later this year both Pillar and Gose are likely to get be called up.
