Did this on the GB, but was more curious your input.

Round 1 -
Conference Semis -
Conference Finals -
Finals -

We end up being the 3rd seed. Miami the 1st seed. Chicago the 2nd seed. Indiana the 4th seed. For some reason or another the Knicks fall to the 6th seed. With some random team being the 5th seed... doesn't truly matter in this scenario:

Round 1 - Versus the Knicks
Conference Semis - Versus Chicago
Conference Finals - Versus Miami
Finals - Versus Clippers

We annihilate the Knicks in the first round in 4-5 games. We get revenge on the Bulls in the 2nd round. We take out the defending champs in the ECF and then go on to beat the easiest Western Conference "Contender" in the finals... as Lopez, KG and Blatche manhandle their ridiculously s****y frontcourt.

Knicks/Pacers/Heat in the East. Finals, I want OKC to further show Durant the kind of financial backing he can have in Brooklyn2016.

Round 1 - against the Knicks - Only to shut their fans up and read Frank Isola's tweets on how much they are more like the Mets of NY basketball.

Round 2 - against the Bulls - Payback. The way we looked against them leaves a bad taste that has to be purged in the postseason and postseason only.

Conference Finals - the Heat - I don't really have to say much here. It would be a great moment in NY sports for us to knock off Miami.

Finals - the Clippers - I'll be the punk to fully say I want the Clippers in the Finals because they are the easiest team to beat in the West in a 7 game series. I don't believe the Nets will have enough legs to fully play a 7 game series against anyone else in the Finals although I think everyone will be much hungrier once they get there.

I agree with the Knicks/Bulls/Heat order for the Eastern Conference sentiment.

First round
In my mind, finishing as a 3rd seed would be disappointing knowing that we'd most likely only have HCA for 1 series, however unless the Knicks are seriously impacted by the injury bug I don't see them being a 7th or 8th seed and therefore we wouldn't face them if we were the 1st or 2nd seed.

Beating them in the first round would do a lot of damage for the fan base, because they will have regressed and yet still be over the cap and unable to significantly improve the team the following season.

Semis
Payback. Nuff said.

ECF
Taking down the champs would officially put us on the map as a serious team and organization.

I don't really care who we'd play in the Finals as long as we win. I don't have animosity towards any WC teams, although it would kinda be cool to beat HOU and show Dwight what could've been lol.

As solid as it gets, since we all here have reasons to hate on each one of those teams

Knix in the first round in a 4 game manhandling. A shellacking for the ages. Just a bloodbath of epic proportions. Some Knix fans jump ship, some jump off the Brooklyn Bridge. They all jumped the gun. They slip to the 7th seed due to some injuries, awful coaching and chemistry, Melo Chuckthony and an overrated fading roster.

Cleveland in the second round. They snag the 6 seed and shock the world beating Indiana. We beat them in 5, paving a reasonably easy road to the ECF's, at least for the physical shape of our players. Kyrie and Deron have a duel for the ages though and Lopez rips Andrew Bynum's still beating heart from his chest 4 out of 5 games, with one being such a blowout neither of them see the court much.

Heat is the obvious in the 3rd round. I'd prefer Indy slipped to the 4th seed and then took out top seeded Miami in the 2nd round, but I don't see it. Whatever, we beat the Heat in unconventional fashion, 7 games, meaning we win a game 7 on the road to steal the series and make it to the big dance.

The Finals we face off with the Clippers. They somehow beat the Rockets in the WCF's after Harden goes down with the dreaded severe high ankle sprain in game one of that series, to the point he can't even put weight on it for at least a week. I'm not wishing injury on one of my favorite players, it's just the only way I see them losing to LAC in a series. I'd say the Thunder, but I'd prefer they get their meat lumped in the 2nd round, leaving Durant even angrier then he's presently becoming. Also, I would love to see Chris Paul get torched by Deron like he often does in head to head matchups and agree with Jeff, we make mince meat of their front court.

We take it down in 5 or 6.

lmao this thread is great.Knicks,Bulls and Heat i agree with but i wouldnt mind swapping the Bulls out for the Pacers just to show the world we own there souls.I would also love to play the Spurs in the finals again and get revenge a decade later.KG and TD going at it for one last shot at a ring would be classic.

Knicks, Bulls/Pacers, and Heat. Spurs or Clippers in the Finals.

Knicks - just because
Bulls - Payback, as mentioned
Heat - beat the champs
Spurs or Lakers (yeah, right) - Long term Payback {I hold grudges! :) }
