3rd highest paid player in the league this year making 22.3M ...

Maybe he will land in LA with Swaggy P.. I am legend.

But I doubt it. I think he has his money and he would rather keep his career stats where they are at 20.7 per game. He is 31 now. Not to old but why bother.

As for favorite Wizard. People are obviously entitled to feel how they want. For me, its a very mixed bag. I was real excited when EG landed him way back when. Parts of this game were fun to watch. Other part very frustrating. I never felt he would lead the team very far because of his style of play, poor defense and strange personality. Kind of Monte Ellis type. Just hard to build a stable team around him. But a few playoff appearances was nice.

I've been a Wizards fan to long to put him above all the rest as my favorites. B King and Bobby D are probably my favorites. Big E. Jeff Rulland. Hell, even Caron Butler to some degree.

But for modern times, I think Beal is already my favorite. If he cranks it up this year, I think that will be true for a lot of Wizards fans. Should be interesting to see who choices Wall as their favorite vs Beal.

Oddly enough Jarvis Hayes led Qatar to victory over Japan in the Asian basketball championships.

Was watching on television and was shocked to see him. Naturalized Qatari citizen apparently...in other words paid/purchased to play for Qatar.

Crazy. He played well though, against horrid competition however.

Olimpia Milano turned with decision on Shelvin Mack for the point-guard position. The former Butler Bulldogs is under contract with Atlanta Hawks for 884.293 $, but his contract is not-guaranteed. Atlanta seems intentioned to cut him because the pick of Dennis Schroeder and the matched offer for Jeff Teague close the doors for him in the point-guard position. The other name is Curtis Jerrells, but will be the second choice only if Mack turns out to be impossibile to sign
.

I was an Arenas fan but I didn't agree with Grunfield's 100M deal. I would've been ok with it if he hadn't injured himself but to give him the MAX after the injury was totally ridiculous.

Now wave good-bye to Cartier in-advance. Martin shot 1-12 in his last game including 4 missed 3-pointers.

From the General Board in the thread: "Worst Players So Far"

The only nets game i saw was the cleveland game and he looked terrible

He had a few decent minutes against Miami but for the most part he takes stupid shots ( he's 5 for 20 so far in 60 minutes played ) , doesn't play a lick of defense , turns the ball over stupidly . Overall he's been dreadful so far , sadly i was something that could be forseen in pre-season where he played just as horrible.

Not the first time this happened though even with the Nets he's been horrible for streches last year as well. Hopefully we sit his ass for a few games and he can return for what he was for most part of last year not to his Washington self.

Blatche is currently last in the league in WS/48.

Per 36 minutes, he is shooting 30% on a whopping 13.2 attempts per game while averaging 4.4 turnovers. And that's while going against backups.

Sounds like the same Blatche we all know and love. Last season was probably a one-time fluke because he was shamed into putting in the offseason work. He's now fat, happy and lazy again.

nate, Derrick Rose is third from last on that list. Blatche is in good company.

Bradley Beal is eighth from last.

Many others are off to bad starts: Olynyk, Bennett, Larry Sanders, Al Harrington, Javale McGee. Not too far up the list are Kevin Garnett, Steve Nash, Al Jefferson.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

Opposite what nate posted:

Jordan Crawford is 7th in WS/48, ahead of Steph Curry (8) and Klay Thompson (11). :o

Zaza Pachulia is 3rd behind Chris Paul and Paul George, just ahead of Kevin Love (4th) :o :o

The top Wizard is Eric Maynor, 16th in the league with a WS/48 of .254.

Maynor is just ahead of Dirk Nowitski (17). :o :o :o
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.
