What do you use to watch nba games?

Post#1 » by talha746 » Tue Jul 30, 2013 4:56 am

Sorry if off topic but just wanted to find out what you guys use to watch some nba games. Does NBA TV Canada show all the Raps games? I cut off my rogers tv few years ago as it was such a rip off but streaming games at a terrible quality just isnt working for me.

My eyes! Man, that was an easy question. Here's one for you...what do you use to listen to games?

All joking aside...I catch games on cable. I used to have Raptors NBA TV, but it was more retro games than anything else. It almost never showed Raptors content. It wasn't worth keeping in my opinion. I used to listen to games on the Fan590 sometimes with the game muted on TV, to avoid the urge to reach through the screen and back-hand Leo in the face. The live text chat that RaptorsRepublic used to have during games was fun too. My chat name was HassanAdamsTowel on it. When I couldn't catch the game, I'd watch the "game in 5" recap on Raptors.com.

Good question. Live sports is the only thing that keeps me paying over $80/month for my cable bill. I need to know there's a legit way to get good quality games by streaming, to consider switching.

Rogers cable. To the tune of 110$/month. It really is a rip off. But screw watching games online. That's just awful imo.

League Pass for other teams. For Raptors games, TSN and SNET, and sometimes at the ACC.

I'm going illegal streams this season. Paying an extra $40/month to watch all Raptors games just seems ridiculous since I don't watch anything else but Raptors and Formula 1.
