Re: Archie Goodwin
He really does need to hit the weight room and get on a solid nutrition plan. He seemed to really improve his shot from the end of the season and into summer league play so that is a major positive. Shows he's committed to improving his game.
He's the most promising player we've drafted in a decade.

Wow, that worked out amazingly. I hope Archie is just as aggressive attacking the hoop in the regular season as he was this summer.

Well we also drafted two Alex(s), and PJ Tucker's first name is really Anthony. So there could be other options. Or, if no one is getting to the line because we dont get any calls, it could be a question AnyoneToTheLine?

Hopefully he turns out better than Alando Tucker who I seem to remember playing very well in SL.

Re: Archie Goodwin
Archie is one of my favorite players and I think will be one of the top steals of the draft.
Now that Phoenix is rid of Scola and have both the Morris boys, the Suns are becoming a fun team to follow. I'll be watching.
Congrats to you guys from a Bucks/Rockets fan.

I'd put money on that. Tucker put up good stats playing how he played in college, as a big man. He never really had the handles or the shooting so he did a lot of work down low. Those skills just don't translate to the NBA simply because he doesn't have the size to pull it off.
Archie as a good set of NBA level skills and NBA size to match.

Well the fact that we haven't seen Len play at the NBA level yet may have something to do with that.

C'mon Archie played in SL. Len didn't. That's all.

Pat Burke > Nash > Barkley, imo.

Either that or because both his ankles are broken and as a result most fans are mortified rather than thrilled.

The only thing that is more broken than Len's ankles is your sense of humour.

I suspect it won't be too long before Goodwin is the starting SG. I've been following him since Arkansas and think he'll be wild for a couple seasons, but will mature into an awesome player. Can't wait to see what he does in the NBA.
