Daye could be a nice shooter off the bench, but i don't know where his minutes will come.
Novak is a better shooter and that basically trumps anything daye can do. He doesn't use his length whatsoever.

Also Roski, love the avi. Lights is gorgeous.

once in a blue moon daye will look good on the offensive end but he's probably the worst defender in the league.

If all you need is someone to stand in the corner and shoot treys to stretch the D then Daye is your guy.... he can shoot over anyone.

He's a good shooter (but streaky) and that's about it.

He can't play defense, can't handle the ball. I don't see it. They can get a good shooter who doesn't suck any other part of game.

I see that the myth about Daye being a good shooter is still alive and well. This guy is a career 36% shooter from 3, and 41% shooter overall. Thats quite average, if not below average.

Anyways this guy is soft in every conceivable fashion you can think of. Might just be the worst defensive player you have ever seen. Is a piss poor athlete with a pathetic frame. He has length, but as another post mentioned he has no damn clue how to use it to his advantage. Has a horriffic Bball IQ. Perpetually makes mental mistakes. Is a turnover machine.

Basically he is a complete pile of feces. I absolutely loathed that pick from the second it was announced, and started to count down the days til I wasn't forced to see him in a Pistons uni anymore. Thankfully that day has already came.

He is one of these guys that will come in and go 19/5 and earn more minutes and slowly fade back to the 11th man.

He will be paid to fill out your roster by warming the pine. He's terrible. He couldn't even perform well on a crummy team.

Don't let him guard at the perimiter, he tends to foul guys taking wild 3 point shots, keep him away from the boundary lines too he's prone to stepping out of bounds, he's also incredibly weak/stiff-legged/slow footed. For being a legacy NBA player, he's also has little to no basketball IQ, always the dumbest player on the court.

He is just a stretch four at this point in his career with zero defensive ability. He's good for about 10 to 12 minutes a night. His low basketball IQ prevents him from improvement while his lanky frames prevents him from being able to play in the post despite his size at 6'11".

Daye always struck me as one of those players that really dosent care about basketball and is more excited by the popularity (albeit he dosent have much) of the NBA,To me daye liked the comradery and the goofing around much more than actually wanting to be a good player. The only thing he can do is shoot (which he really isnt good at) and will give you 1 good game out of 15.Since I consider myself a glass half full type of guy he will do wonders for your tanking.
