I really didn't want anything over 6.5 a year so this is perfect. I'm not a believer in Hendo keeping his end of year pace up so the player option and less money sounds great to me.

Not sure where Bonnell got that figure of 23.9 points per game.

Upon checking basketball-reference..

After the all-star break, last 30 games: 18.9ppg, .462 FG
The stretch Bonnell offered, last 23 games: 20.0ppg, .465 FG
Most impressive stretch you can find, last 19 games: 20.9ppg, .480 FG
