Ugh, Daye? Riles was hacked.
If there is any truth to the newest Le14 rumor, I'd have to believe LeBron just likes hurting NY's feelings.

Did Riley really want Daye? He would have worked out as a PF/ SF type. Maybe he would have worked with him and his body to make him big and strong.

This is definitely going to be a season that every one is going throw smack at us like crazy. LeBron's 2014 (funny thing is, that's if he uses his early termination) and Wade's once again on going battle with his ex-wife.
I was on Wade's twitter by the way, and he did write something interesting on the 22nd pertaining to custody battle I guess?

Daye as a power forward? Come on man, I know we like small ball, but having Daye at small forward is almost small ball, dude's a twig, no way can he be a PF.

Daye is a good little player. I'm sure we were interested as he'd be a Young , cheap upgrade. Just due diligence.

The thing is that even if Lebron does leave Miami next off-season, I doubt most Miami fans will have any hard feelings. I was reading the GB and people were posting things like "I can't wait to see all the Miami fans burning their Lebron jerseys," and I doubt it would go down like that at all.
In my opinion, Lebron can do whatever he wants to. So can Wade. So can Bosh. So can any one of you. Once they signed their contract, the only thing I wanted to see was heart and effort. They gave us that for 3 straight (and soon to be 4) years. Lebron may leave, he may stay, he could choose to retire, but I will always be grateful for his character and abilities he brought to the Heat.
I hope he stays, but I don't think worrying about it does any good for our franchise. He's going to do what he's going to do. One thing I can guarantee is Mickey Arison won't write a demeaning letter to our entire city villainizing the best player to ever play for our team... in comic sans.

we're not getting him! but you certainly have a strange way of choosing. He's a good player and if he'd agreed to the vet min Riley would have signed him.

it's bleacherreport which means it's just a fan commenting. I don't know why you waste your time posting links to rubbish and then saying you're just the Messenger - stick to authentic sources

Don't tell me what to post and what not to post. Are you the person with the final say on what is 'RELIABLE" OR NOT, I'VE POSTED NEWS WITH LINKS FROM A LOT OF INDUSTRY people, and I've found that if people/posters don't like the source/person, they disregard it anyway,
So you disregard things that YOU feel are not worthy of your attention.
finally, I don't agree or like everything YOU post, but I would never limit what you posts, so of your sh@t IS useful/informative.. - FYI - bleacher report has reliable sources behind them, they bare a credible entity..

Re: Official Off-Season Trade/Rumor Thread 2.0
From Ask Ira
Q: So LeBron James decides to leak rumors that he might be interested in the Knicks in 2014. Does he not realize all the chaos and unneeded attention off the court this will attract? I guess he still wants all the attention. -- Vajeeh, East Northport, N.Y.
A: Whoa. And you know LeBron leaked anything how? You'll be hearing plenty of this during the coming season. And plenty of LeBron's "people" will be privately be talking about what they think might happen. But for any player to look at the current Knicks and their cap situation and find that favorable at this moment, well, I find that hard to digest. Now, when LeBron says during the season that he can't wait for the opportunity to play alongside Amare Stoudemire, perhaps then I'll change my tune.

Would be pretty disappointing if LeBron left now considering I just got a great deal on a LeBron throwback Heat jersey.

Re: Official Off-Season Trade/Rumor Thread 2.0
This Thread is about Offseason trades and moves, THIS YEAR'S offseason. Can you guys take the idiotic LBJ to NY bull to another thread? thx.
It's going to be extremely annoying if the "OMG IS LEBRON LEAVING US??!?
(" **** is going to be spammed into every thread this entire year.
========================
Daye is the softest PF alive, that's not what we need next to Bosh. I highly doubt we really wanted him, He's a never-been, less talented version of Lewis.
Oden will make his decion tomorrow, that's probably going to be the biggest most important move (or non-move if he goes elsewhere) that we'll see this offseason.
The second biggest that is still realistic is Mo Williams, nevermind homers/haters - He'll be our best PG if we get him. He's only 30, alot of fuel still in his tank.
After those 2, it's nothing to get too excited about : Ennis, Varnado or whoever probably won't make much of an impact, espically not in their first year. Hoping to be pleasantly surprised, but we can't count on it.
Can't wait for tomorrow. Oden is the first step.

yea whatever. I think it's meant to be rumors about our 2013 offseason. not TMZ or future baseless rumors.
We should probably sticky a thread called "IS LBJ GOING TO LEAVE US FOR NY/LA/THE MOON?

We're going for the **** three-peat, Lebron himself isn't even thinking about 2014 yet. but you guys are already starting to obsess about it. If not containd this will be a very long year on this board.
