Pretty sure Reggie Williams signed with Houston. Boobie Gibson is bad and facing assault charges. It'd be nice if we could consolidate a couple of assets and give guys like Terrance Williams, Xavier Henry and Cole Aldrich a shot.

Joe has done an amazing job.... as someone that stated repeatedly that I wanted Joe fired/retired I'm stunned by the job he's done. No one should have expected "better".

Give the man all the credit in the world and show up!

I think a very good trade would be Singler for Morrow. Morrow had a horrible year last year but shot the ball very well his first few years in the league. I think NO would be open to that. How about the rest of you guys??

I completely agree with the job Joe's done. It'll be tough for me to get to the Palace but I'm renewing my league pass after being on the verge of canceling the last few years.

This has to be a joke.. That means that the trade S&T that just happened would have been Jennings & Udoh for Stuck. That's comical!! Plus, BK would not be so interested in playing for a team that just gave up on him. Lastly, it makes no sense with the glut of PG's we have right now and BK is too small to play SG.

I'd really like to see us do Stuckey/Jerebko/Singler for Okafor. That gives us our backup big, clears some salary off the summer '14 cap and allows us to sign a vet natural 2 (cough Rip Hamilton cough) to put in a rotation with KCP.

I'd love to see some new school/old school backcourt pairings with KCP-Jennings and Rip-CB

With the way Rip left, I dont think there's any way Joe brings him back.

I still don't like the mix of Drummond, Monroe and Smith. Short term it's probably fine because I don't believe Drummond has the stamina to play over 30 minutes a game so Monroe will be playing a lot of center anyways. Long term I've fine with Drummond and Smith as long as they're complimented by someone who can shoot. Aldridge and Love would be great targets...or going after a young swing man with All Star upside.

Of course Monroe could erase all those concerns by developing a mid range shot and improving his team defense a bit.

I really like Afflalo too and I think Stuckey for AA makes a lot of sense. We would have two excellent defensive SG's to share the minutes. However, I think KCP is ready right away. All he has to do is shoot open 3's and play defense. I wouldn't be surprised at all if we go into this season without making another trade.

I would be shocked if we didnt make another move. The moves we have made suggest that we are trying to win now and starting a rookie SG doesn't fit with that goal. I dont see us gifting any rookies with developmental minutes- IMO- KCP will get around 15-20 minutes off the bench but I doubt he's a 30+ minute per game starter.

This may be the case...but I think you give him half a season to see what he can do. In the meantime, those expiring contracts have more value near the trade deadline than they do now.

Why I like about KCP is that he could be a young glue guy for this team...much like Tay was when he got his chance rookie year. Pistons just need him to hit open shots and defend...which is what we'd want Afflalo to do.

The pressure is on the win now because if we miss the playoffs and give a pick in the 9-13 range in a loaded draft to Charlotte then Joe is likely getting fired.

We also need to win to inject some culture change. Monroe is entering his 4th season and every team he's been on has been terrible. Monroe & Drummond have to learn what it takes to win and getting a taste of playoff action would be nice.

We've injected "winners" across the board, Billups track record speaks for itself, but Smith & Jennings have both been top two players on playoff teams and Datome has won in Italy. There's a group of about 8 teams who don't care if they win or not this year, I'd be surprised if we don't make the playoffs but if we don't it's going to take some serious lotto luck to keep our pick.

You actually believe we need to trade for a SG to make the playoffs? Or beyond that, a rookie SG starting with a group of talented veterans precludes us from making it? Some of y'all need to stop saying "win-now" because its a different definition from the way y'all are using it. This team as currently constructed is good enough to make the playoffs.

I have no idea what you are talking about or where I said we need to trade for a SG to make the playoffs. I fully expect this to be a playoff team as currently constructed even if we play KCP 40 minutes per game.

You previously said starting a rookie SG doesn't meet the "win now" goal. Your words, not mine. So if you have no idea what I'm talking about, then you have no idea what YOU'RE talking about as I'm only echoing you. Unless you're referring to competing for a title when you say win now, then you would be borderline insane to believe that's the 2013-14 goal. So back to my original point, with "win now meaning" making the playoffs, having this rookie SG doesn't prevent them from doing it as his skill set is supposed to actually fit in with what they need.
